I obviously know what Bey meant, I wasn't talking about Bey being shady, I was talking about how Hive (and a lot of others) were using it to drag Rihanna and other people.  And yes you're right liddos did it too, but we didn't really have any fights with Rihanna stans back then or with Hive for that matter. Hive and Navy were the ones that had a big fan war, while liddos were fighting madonna and britney stans mostly  And yes, my point exactly, stop trying to rewrite history when we were all there.

The solo thing is something Monsters weaponized against both the Hives and navy. 

 

Even if they had wanted to, Hives simply could not use it when people on Atrl kept bringing the fact that CIL, Check On It and a lot of Beyoncé's songs had features. 

 

Quick little singles is also completely irrelevant to the issue of solo songs. 

 

OT : She doesn't need to, I guess. And please, we are at not yet even in the middle of the decade.

They each have their strengths and weaknesses compared to each other, but they're not as dissimilar as the Hive has convinced themselves and continues to try and convince everyone else that they are. Maybe it's because Beyoncé tends to do better in the US and on weekly charts, but you can't just disregard the rest of the planet and the rest of consumption that happens when a song is not charting.

 

Btw for anyone wondering, the average for the above songs just including Spotify is 293M for Gaga and 268M for Beyoncé.
