She just can't keep relying on collabs forever. Once DWAS starts dying down and she moves onto promoting and releasing her new album next year, will the true lead single come soon?

Does it matter? DWAS is one of the biggest hits of the decade already, bigger than most solo hits AND collabs from your faves, so keep fuming!!!

She doesn't NEED to, but she can still secure one. I'd much rather see her use her album to go after chasing less commercial sounds, however. I'm not wanting Gaga music to sound like the musical climate of 2024 where Morgan Wallen and Shaboozey are smashing.

Even though I didn't make this thread with the best intentions, I still think she can strike a balance between roots Gaga and the current musical climate for a solo hit. The Monsters are still there for the first week positions, but a song to comeback with like Disease was a step backwards

Gaga co-wrote the song, co-produced it, sings on it and it's on her album, it is a GAGA AND BRUNO song.

 

Also, this is rich coming from someone with an Ariana Grande Avi considering her two biggest hits on the Billboard Hot 100 are remixes of The Weeknd's songs.

I can see it now. It's 2029. Gaga has just turned 43 and has just released LG8.@Queenyoncee@fememeistand others have been waiting for another 5 years on ATRL to bump this thread. Lucky for them, she has only gotten another number 1 with The Weekend. Once again, they are proven right - Gaga is the LOSER here. We flood this thread with comments like "This is why Monsters never should have said [x] in 2012! Now look at her in 2030!" We all clap and congratulate these ATRL users for being right.

I just flat out don't want it. Maybe if it was something like Chappell Roan, but I'd rather hear Gaga do something like Disease than watch Gaga devolve like Post Malone and try to make Morgan Wallen'd music.

They never do for men, which is always so funny. Bruno's career was stalling and he was in a ton of debt so he ran to collab with Gaga and Rose - not the other way around.

There's nothing wrong with Gaga putting DWS on LG7. There will be an issue however if Bruno decides to put DWS on his new album too, cause you know, the song sales will go to the best selling album... so for the best she needs another hit for the album, being it solo or a collab.
