Eternium Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Prequels never do well and the previous film was poorly received. This is not a surprise to anyone. Still, it will end up being one of the Top 10 highest grossing films of the year.
James_Joint Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago The marketing for this movie has been weak. Other than the movie title and the Beyonce association, I can't tell you anything about the film or what it's supposed to be about.
Lovett Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago The way the Hive doesn't give two sh*ts about this film, but her pressed haters are obsessed with it. I couldn't care less what it grosses. I have no interest in seeing it, I'm too busy watching Wicked for the third time. 2

Giorgoc Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Beyonce's? Is she directing it or producing it? I see the dumb flop movie drags aren't Gaga exclusive.

Lmao. Pour yourself some egg nog, and spend some time with your loved ones today. Peace, light, and Santa dickins' to you, my friend. Edited 13 hours ago by on the line 1 1
ChooseyLover Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I don't think there was any need for this film to happen in the first place.
Brikenbur Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Why would "BeyHive" go see a movie co-co-co-starring Beyoncé? Same could be said for that Dua Lipa movie and even that Taylor Swift one where she co-starred. What we REALLY need to be focusing on are the movies that some of y'all favs are LEAD ACTRESSES in that are flopping

I changed the title to make you happy, merry christmas

Relampago. Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I just don't even know what it's about and there's so many movies out right now that I'd rather see Admittedly, I'm not a fan of TLK in general so that didn't help
Domination Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago The first one was not that well received (and certainly not looked backed upon fondly) so not sure why they went out of their way to make this one. At this point, Aladdin is really the only live action Disney movie that's response would warrant a sequel.
Bencharmer Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago People are tired of Disney being lazy for one decade. People claim new ideas, no more follow up, no more live action.....
PrettyHurts Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago People didn't really like the first movie. It only did well because it was the lion king. I think they should have made the reboots animated cartoon style. The realistic lions are just not the tea
SUNSET BLVD Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago This move has the same exact budget as joker 2 and opened with less. Curious why no one is talking about this as much as joker? People on atrl actually tried to tell me that joker 2 was the biggest flop of all time
Gaia Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago It's very clear the first movie was successful due to hype. But they should have known after the reception that a 2nd live action lion king movie would not be nearly as successful. It's hard to get people to want to see a "live action" that's not actually live. It's easier to watch an actual cartoon
