Can Taylor debut with 1M+ with ONE album variant?

I'm genuinely curious of what a 12-13 track Taylor album with only one cover would do numbers wise.

Removing Anthology and the last 3 songs from TTPD put its opening week streams at like 450k, so probably similar numbers to Midnights.

If she did that move now it would be less though, cause TTPD was at the pinnacle of the career skyrocketing that started with The Eras Tour.

Yes, worst comes to worst she can just get her bot farms to do the heavy lifting on spotify.

The Eras Tour book had one version and sold a million copies in its first week, so I think she could.

If Anthology didn't exist, the first 14 tracks would've done a little better tho

And I would say that maybe it could've sold a little better through the week cause anthology kinda killed a little the physical interest for it

yeah, she just has to put 15 songs on there that aren't on digital

Can other girls sell a million total with 1 variant though?

Yeah, just going by the most pessimistic scenario in case they try it :coffee: same goes to variants, if there were not 3 alternative TTPD covers, the main one would've sold way more than it has.

Nope! Swifties cannot comprehend the fact that book sales at the height of consumer season (what's new?) ≠ album sales for her new record.

It would certainly come as a surprise seeing her focus on her art and not commerce for once

No. It wouldn't be a taylor swift release without 20+ botched variant versions sold at the lowest price allowed by Billboard

I don´t get these variants... She could release an album where every song is directly dedicated to me and my family members, and I´d still only buy 1 copy

Girl, her ONE variant just sold 400k copies on the same week the book was released. Speak Now (a re-recording) sold 700k.

She did 400k from streaming alone with TTPD. Why the heck would she not do 1M with a single variant? You don't have to act stupid, just ignore the thread.

It won't happen because she will always find a way to increase the number.

Divide TTPD's pure sales by 4 and it would still reach a million. Absolutely yes.

Watch her next album break 25's record and make ATRL seethe

Hard to tell. She would be close tho, but she will never allow this like never again so...:razzle:
