She's been in the industry for 25 years and still hasn't won AOTY aka thee most prestigious accolade in the industry. Taylor has won it 4 times, Adele has won twice and Billie will probably win her 2nd AOTY in 2 months. She's losing the most important accolades against the younger more respected female singer-songwriters.

Ffs... I'm okay with questioning whether Self Titled and Lemonade losses were fair game or not (even though I think Lemonade definitely should've won), but the loss of Renaissance to Harry's House should be clear enough where the problem lies with the Grammys. Let's be honest for once! 

 

And you're saying it yourself, only 3 non-white women won the award in the entire ceremony's history... 1+1=2.

Because as much as you'd like to bury your head in the sand, race does matter. Which is precisely why Taylor Swift has more wins of that particular award than all black women in history combined. Whether Taylor deserved her wins or not is entirely irrelevant to the conversation.

 

That is why that arbitrary metric is pretty stupid for you to use. Particularly considering the GP couldn't care less about that award and doesn't factor into whether they think someone is a/the 'G.O.A.T'.

Beyonce has never ever had the biggest album nominated in the AOTY line up and has never reached the gargantuan levels of commercial success or captured the zeitgeist the same way Adele and Taylor had. 
 

Also, the Grammy voters care about songwriting and the artistic input/involvement the artists have had in the making of their albums. Beyonce is known for having a ridicoulously huge amount of songwriters working on her albums. The industry knows the way her album are made and that she's not the one who's writing the songs for her albums. This is the reason she's never won the coveted AOTY
