Isn't Breaking Dishes an Album Track from a 2007 album with no promo EVER out performing every song in Yonce's discography...

I duno, is it? Does anyone outside of Rihanna's fans know this? And if they do, does anyone care about it? Does it make her a better artist? Is Beyoncé less worthy of praise now? What does this have to do with anything?

Certified TITLES NOT simply certifications. RIHANNA IS THE MOST CERTFIED FEMALE ARTIST IN RIAA History... Idc what yall say

the TRUTH IS MOST CERTIFIED TITLE IN HISTORY BY A FEMALE ARTIST. Again...

RIHANNA IS THE MOST CERTFIED FEMALE ARTIST IN RIAA History

Beyonce has the most Certified Titles By a Female ARTIST

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING

Go argue with RIAA then. Certified titles = certifications

No one mentioned certified units which Rih holds the record for among female artists. Beyonce does have the most certifications by any female artist

Because Taylor hasn't bothered to update her discography certs in years. Not rocket science folks. :bird:

Certifications aren't automatic. Beyonce won't stand a chance against streaming-era artists like Billie, Ariana, Taylor and Rihanna because she just debuted too early. It's a massive, massive disadvantage.

Disadvantage on what? Wtf. On having more streams? Oh, what a disadvantage, is Beyoncé less successful for that? Lol. Lol.

ATRL really needs to learn how to insert their faves into conversations pleasantly and not in ways that downplay one artist's achievements in order to boost your faves. It can be done. It's not hard. Something like "Congrats! It's so great to see her and Rihanna, who has is the most certified female artist when it comes to sales, at the top like that." Done, easy, loving, you snuck your fave's achievements in there and reminded us of her success.

Awww they're so mad :heart2: People keep saying wait until so and so updates and it's true, this won't be her title for long but this is a great feat to accomplish at any time. Especially for someone that most of you try to say is a flop. She's one of the best selling artists of all time who has sold millions of records over the span of decades and I'm not sure where the narrative that she has sold nothing comes from. The way some stans talk about her, you'd think she only has 1 hit single and 1 successful album but this is the exact antithesis of that :fish1:

And the gag is that she hasn't even played the game that she could for the last 10 years. If she was as chart aggressive as others, these numbers would be even higher. Oh Beyonka...well regarded for your talent and your success. A legend.

It literally does not.

The title is "Beyonce MOST RIAA certifications by any female".

To have the most certifications implies that there are more certifications.

As I already stated: using Most Certified and Most Certifications can imply different things, and thus make the thread title vague, not lying.

"Most certified titles by any female" would be the most accurate thread name here me thinks

THIS.

Like Formation is 3x platinum...now imagine she didn't give it out for free for its first three months and then kept it off streaming for three years...

Congrats to Bey, her success in the singles department has always been overlooked when in reality Rihanna is probably the only female artist with more hits than Bey this century. Globally as well

I'll hold your hand when I say this.

When some of your biggest hits are before the streaming era, your streams are not going to be as good compared to people that had their biggest hits during the streaming era.

Baby Boy is "only" x2 platinum because most of its certifications came from pure sales after it went #1 for 9 weeks. 21 years later, it didn't stand the test of time with streams so it likely won't be certified any higher. On the opposite end Crazy In Love did stand the test of time and continues to be a massive streaming hit despite being 21 years old and will be diamond a couple years from now.

There's a reason why the artists with the most diamond singles are artists from modern times. Do you really think Post Malone has bigger hits than Michael Jackson?

Tell em riri stan. I saw child on TikTok saying Beyoncé only has 4 known songs against Taylor's 15 and proceeded to list Tim McGraw as an example. People need to step outside of their own music library and realize just because you aren't listening doesn't mean that others aren't. I especially roll my eyes when someone says "__ isn't known in my country". As if they speak for everyone.

Black popstars are the top 2. And they are livid. It doesn't fit their narrative.

I'm not that frustrated because I find it fascinating, interesting and meaningful that Beyoncé could all but decline hits and STILL come out more relevant, respected and have her music as culturally important without the traditional mark for all of that: the hit.

As I mentioned earlier, I can't think of a single artist (in pop, at least) who has grown in notoriety and overall cultural worth at the same time that their hits decreased and their smashes went to NONE. That is a HUGE testament to the artwork itself, to the artist she is, and to the brand and work she did for the decades before 2013 came to get herself to a place where she is confident enough to not need or even try for hits.

Something as simple as making singles out of Mine feat. Drake or 6 Inch feat. The Weeknd (both of which were chart gold at the time) could have gotten her some more stable post-release hits but she clearly didn't care. And I LOVE that.

No, we're just able to see the vagueness and still understand what it means.

If you have 10 different songs each with a platinum certification and another artist has 5 different songs that are each certified double platinum, who has more certifications?

everyone knows the answer, and yet 3 pages of useless comments trying to bait/set up. are yall bored or just... [choose a slur you want]

If you have 60 gold songs 29 platinum and 2 diamonds is that different than having 7 Gold 50 platinum 7 Diamond? Who has more?

As for your question it's literally a tie. The certifications are about their sales, I'm not sure why you're pretending 10 million and 10 million are supposed to be different numbers...

You should remember that to Pittsburgh people, it's seems that nobody wanted to watch Prince reincarnation performing there

Between Beyoncé's Pittsburgh shows and Taylor's Philadelphia Target locations, it seems maybe Pennsylvania is not a fan of the pop girls.  :clown:

And it's without DC! Oh its over for your faves :suburban:

What does that have to do with the fact that she has less certified titles, like you keep YAPPING about in here? She would have more if y'all streamed a lot of her other songs, correct?

Yes I know it's a tie, that's why I asked it because it depends on your perspective on what you are valuing when deciding whom has "the most certifications".

But if we want to really make it more of a decision: if the second artist got just one more gold certification, making their total 10.5 million sales not 10 million, but from half the amount of songs, are they really the most certified or they have more certified sales? Either way, again, the title is vague not wrong.

Is that why there were people mad when she cancelled that show?
