Elton John: Legalizing weed in America is one of the greatest mistakes of all time

I guess for some people, but I think they would've found ways to buy other drugs anyways

Most people I know who smokes weed aren't interested in doing harder drugs, but that's just my observation

Scientific papers says otherwise so if he was so serious on advocating about drugs he wouldn't spill opnions based on his personal experiences as if a celebrity opnion had more credit than professional studies. If there were truth on "weed leads to other drugs" logic we would need to turn alcohol and cigars illegal too, that needed to be the first step actually.

One of the greatest mistakes of america is not takin care of the mental health of their citizens. So many of them turn to heavy drugs to cope

Such backward thinking, so glad it's leagaized, we don't need jails full of pot smokers. And it's a booming business for some states, and also great they can deliver it to your house t1246.gif

I wonder what brand of poppers she uses to loosen her minnie moo, clearly she needed some for this interview. I recommend Amsterdam or English Premium.

Legalization is not bad; it is just a lot of people lack self-control and the ability to say no. The part used in recreational drugs has some gnarly chronic side effects, especially concerning the nerve-ends. So yes, the girls that are high every day, need to slow down.

You know i'm just reporting the news because he's a legend and has a platform. I don't agree with him. But I do think it's concerning that more people may feel empowered to express regressive opinions because of the political climate were in which may lead to laws changing.

so he tried to help george michael who sadly has passed away by saying he called him an ******* and then blaming it on GM for not getting better or not wanting to get better? :rip:

if this senile man actually cares about helping people lose their addiction he'd know calling them assholes and then going on interviews admitting to it isn't necessarily the best step to take

hilarious too that he kept quiet when it came to alcohol, despite the fact it's one of the actual worse drugs there is and it's highly accessible

shut up elton.

Too be fair he's a gay old man who has seen a lot of mess associated with drugs

but legalizing it really changed nothing cause half the population is high in places where it is illegal :deadbanana:

if we were to actually get into it then i do get his perspective absolutely yeah especially after what u mentioned abt his probable history, i had a best friend who went from smoking SO much every day to suddenly quitting cold turkey and it brought out hidden schizophrenia in him and his mental health was messed UP and ended up getting sent to the mental ward :rip: personally for me too i had to really pull back on it bc of the increase in paranoia/anxiety

my personal belief though is that it should still be up to the (legal) digression of each individual, for every bad case study there's an almost limitless amount of good case studies .. i think ppl just got to know themselves and know their limits w it
