ImpressMeMuch Posted December 5 Posted December 5 wonder how the swifties who even doubted it and said the vinyl would outsell as the real rare item are doing do we have numbers on the vinyl?
ImpressMeMuch Posted December 5 Posted December 5 The display at my local city location was stocked end of day, but I said then that I had a feeling they just printed a sht ton of these things and the only funny thing about it to me was that people camped out for no reason There's very little risk to over producing here - they will continue to sell through the holiday, and will sell easily with a nice little 10-20% discount to all the girlies who get target gift cards from Santa. Every bookstore near me and even the same local target have a section of TS (off-brand) books, so she's smart to put out a 'first party' one next to them! 1

Not specifically just the vinyl yet, but the album is currently estimated to do 388k this week Imagine if there was enough stock
fridayteenage Posted December 6 Posted December 6 oh, sadge, similarly to NYT bookscan will NOT have the book on their lists because it's only one retailer. But Publishers Weekly tells us that short first week makes it "the 7th bestselling book of the year." not sure what the ones above her are besides the women: 1,300,057 & dog man #12: 1,148,583 (as of the previous week). I assume if it doesn't get mentioned in the year end sales article, there will be a press release from Taylor nation telling us what it sells by the end of the year. the PW article also states "Taylor Swift: A Little Golden Book has sold nearly 506,000 copies this year and more than 1.1 million since it was published last May." Whew, over a million copies for an unofficial bio. Her power!
