From what we saw on his social media, there isn't much that is overtly coded as culturally conservative. His family seems to have largely lived in blue states despite some of his family being Republican officials and being wealthy. I think the bigger point of why people may try to pin down his beliefs is that clearly the reality of healthcare made him snap and then what does that mean about who can progressives actually reach in attempting a populist message? See also his comments finding both Jordan Peterson and Tucker Carlson overly emotional & illogical to the point of finding them both annoying.
