Goaty Posted December 10 Posted December 10 I wonder to what extent this will cause copycat killings (or attempts). He's basically being deified by many corners of the internet and there's certainly no shortage of people who have been ****** over by our healthcare system. if I were an executive of ANY healthcare or healthcare-adjacent corporation I'd be shitting bricks right now. 4

I was thinking about this too. There's still a small chance that not now but in the future something like this can happen 1
Goaty Posted December 10 Posted December 10 And if there is a God (there isn't) and Hell is real (it's not) I hope Mr. Thompson is getting raked over the coals right now I'll never forgive him — and losers like him — who are responsible for my patients not being able to afford their drugs. God American healthcare is bleak 6

Americans have lost it Girl I've had to turn patients away when they can't afford the medication they need to survive. I've had patients who can't afford insulin leave the pharmacy empty handed and then end up in the ER — which they also can't afford! — with DKA. Perhaps those who live on the other side of the world should spend less time chiming in w/ their derivative takes and more time researching the kind of healthcare system that is the catalyst for the behavior of someone like Luigi! 18 8

Clockkkk it. **** Pearl clutching libs/moderates… ***** we are being killed by this system, WAKE up. Lack of healthcare is INHERENTLY violent vs the entire populace. Murder, theft, rape, etc. are NOT the only forms of violence that exist. Society perpetuates the violence of capitalism on a daily basis and people who aren't paying attention are blind to that reality. 14 1

Khal Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Two things can be true- awful CEO of awful company, good riddance, no tears for his death; and you're extremely delusional if you think this will lead to any 'take back the power' moment for the average person. It will be thirsting, memes and a circus trial which will be used for 'content' in the long run 1 1 2
Riot Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Take my hand Stay, Luigi The prison cells are not Ready for you Every part of my aching ass Needs you more than McDonald's do 5

rickycabello123 Posted December 10 Posted December 10 if you all watched Alice in Borderland tv series season 2, Luigi exactly is Chisiya. Smart, cold hearted, but different role, he is doctor at the serie. He was so sad because he had to stop a poor guy for treatment over richer one, then the poor died

It will be thirsting, memes and a circus trial which will be used for 'content' in the long run BlueCross BlueShield literally reversed their decision to put time limits on how much they would cover anesthesia in a handful of states immediately after the UHC CEO was killed. To say this will make no dent has already been proven wrong. The main question is whether there will be a continued effort to maintain political consolidation around healthcare moving forward. Of course, that is bigger than Luigi on his own. But, we are seeing a 2-decade high approval for universal healthcare [link]. That isn't disconnected to the assassination. 8

Popular Post Cesar Posted December 10 Popular Post Posted December 10 It's funny to see the media condemn this, but didn't condemn the man who killed Jordan Neely (a homeless man) on the subway. Jordan Neelys killer is running free. It has exposed the contradictions of the system 14 1
Xtina23 Posted December 10 Posted December 10 omg I saw he tried to say something to the crowd/media and they pushed him inside. maybe he was trying to say he loves me?! let him speak!!! kjfemdgkjnqrefpjkgmfdk;gmfd 5
New Edition Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Okay so what's tea is Luigi the assassin or the guy who was denied coverage or both? And is it true he's a Trump supporter?
