Can someone connect the dots for me? How is murdering this guy gonna improve the healthcare system? Reforming the system by actually voting for candidates who aren't bought off by lobbyists seems like a better solution? And if people showed the same passion for healthcare reform that they did for trying to get Ticketmaster to lower prices for Taylor Swift tickets maybe something would get done. But go off with the fake outrage I guess.

It's not, which is why people are taking this little blip of resistance and are rejoicing it

yeah I definitely concur with many of y'all: I feel no sympathy. mothaf*cka it's true. at the same time, I'm not gonna be praising his death from the rafters or anything like that. I refuse to waste energy on being high spirited due to anything having to directly do with a CEO! I just don't find it conducive to the way I see progress taking form at this moment. but anyway!

what I hope from now is exactly that: progress. the crumbling of capitalism and at the least more of an incentive that revolution is possible. I feel like people are opening their eyes a bit to what reality we're facing right now. we live in dark times, but I need this to inspire assertion. no longer taking sh*t lying down, and utilizing community as a fundamental for personal growth and the progression of society. so yeah, f*ck him. not a bad thing that he died by any means!

I hope that everyone who he wronged gets justice somehow in some form or another

Next up should be Elon Musk :ryan3:

Then where would ATRL get their news?!

I agree though. I think it's despicable users here keep using that platform and supporting him.

Celebrating this guy's murder is a cheap and macabre way to offer 'resistance'. I bet you none of these Twitter hot takes are actually going out to organize voter drives. But celebrating the death of a group of people you consider evil is not the progressive take you think it is.

Pluto is in Aquarius, look up what happened last time :) (French revolution, Haitian revolution)

People trying to "both sides" this like this man isn't responsible for killing and victimizing thousands, if not millions of people for profit can **** off. If you want to live your life as a slave to people who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire, then fine. But I for one am fully in support

Just speaking for myself I've been in the trenches on trying to improve the system and after almost getting shot in upstate New York in a GOTV drive I'm over it for my mental health. I worked on four campaigns and on the Hill and I've kind of given up on the system.

As far as Twitter is concerned, if the mods want to start embedding Bluesky, I'd be more than happy to transition over.

And that's ultimately the takeaway here.

Until the response to this is something other than the level of jobs provided by said industry and the money provided by its lobbyists I don't see us making any progress on this in my lifetime. :coffee2:

the engravings kinda confirms the theory that it was connected to someone being denied coverage instead of a shareholder contract hit man
