Yup and what exactly are people supposed to do in the meantime they wait for affordable housing to be built and wait for politicians to care about funding for mental health? You both are acting like I'm calling for the state-sanctioned killing of homeless people while offering ZERO actual real-time solutions for people being put into dangerous situations by said homeless people. The idea that Daniel Penney did exactly what needed to be done bc people like you have no actual solutions other than cry about mental health funding on the internet and the idea that homeless people shouldn't die are not mutually exclusive.

Also lmao at you blaming Democrats for these issues. Yea because historically, red states have always done so well financially and never needed to be subsidized by blue ones. Please.

You can just admit that you don't see homeless people as human. You can just admit that vigilantes taking it upon themselves to eradicate them as though they're filthy, disease-ridden rats is fine to you because the government is too paralyzed to take any more of a humane approach. Really! It'd be perfectly fine, because it's a mainstream opinion for urban liberals like yourself at this point.

So go ahead! Call for homeless people to be stomped out like cockroaches! Your extremely hostile and defensive responses have shown this is what you actually feel, so why hide it? :celestial5:

Electoralism has failed us again and again already. It's naive to think him "going into politics" would've changed anything this time. As facile an argument as saying "vote!" lmfao

My posts have been about the consequences of his actions for him, not America.

Let's say the murder of this man sparks a fire in America, he's still going to be in jail, wasting his life away. He might be fine with being a martyr for the cause right now since I assume he's had a breakdown, but he's more than likely going to regret it in the future. He's also going to feel terrible about being responsible for why two kids no longer have a father.

He could have had a more meaningful life organizing protests etc, rather than sitting in a jail cell.

I'm saying that Luigi should've gone into politics and "erase these companies out of existence like how they don't exist in countless other countries." instead of wasting his life away in a prison cell.

when you become president you can pardon him!

Why would he go into politics when no politicians want to do that?

Again, there's clear moral failings on his end but he's so far more effective at messaging the demand for universal healthcare than any elected official.

not seeing official source for the mom's neuropathy so I took it down from the OP. I think it's based on the fake manifesto that was going around if anyone has official backing on Reddit or elsewhere please let me know. I didn't see it.

i'm not trusting the true crime podcast source that Daily Mail is citing.

Lmao. In other words make nothing of his life. He's done more than AOC in bringing attention to the healthcare scam industry in this country and more than Bernie's pathetic multi-decade career in congress with some direct action against a CEO regarding this issue. He hasn't wasted his life away. He avenged the murder of *millions* by the healthcare scam insurance industry.

Of course he hasn't :rip:

His PAC is the one arguing for further insurance privitization and he doesn't want to pay more for his own security.

I'm loving how the right is showing their asses on this issue, not just on Fox News but on podcasts as well. The comment sections are not on their side. I guess now that Trump won they took the masks off and stopped pretending to be populists :rip:

Then again the left is also butchering this (besides Bernie, shocker!) but no surprises there.

I'm not sure if this specifically has gotten much attention but I saw this despicable segment during Anderson Cooper's show last night. I recognize that an explicit comparison is not being made, but obviously there's an undertone given the context in which it is being presented. Luigi is basically being lumped in with mass shooters, serial killers, and child molesters.
