I think Drake actually fell harder with his latest album, right? 402k -> 164k, or 59.2%, whereas this figure for Kendrick would be a 49.5% drop.

even you typing that can see that the figures don't differ that much, but my point is Drake's reception/discourse was much more different than what Kendrick's will be.

Well you dont know about generations resonating thing yet. Im pretty confident this album will have a cult following just like Red or Reputation and will be remembered for years to come. Like even your post will also help to make the album more remebered, polarized albums are always highlight in artists's discography.

It's a target exclusive so it'll be restocking constantly.

Are we talking about the Anthology vinyl? If so, it was only a Target exclusive for Black Friday. It'll be released to the record stores this Friday for domestic and international countries. It's already listed for sale on many of the sites.

Haven't seen any US retailer outside Target listing it, but yeah it's a wide release outside US like all her Target exclusives.

I usually don't do multiple variants of an album but omg the cover of the Anthology will too look pleasing on my vinyl mantle. She outshines the OG TTPD cover I fear.  I'll give the OG to my niece for Christmas it's still sealed.
