I'm gonna hold your hand when I say this – those are brand new accounts... that have just signed up to a brand new platform 

 

Bluesky has a follow list feature that lets you fill your timeline (specifically the "Following" feed) instantly after signing up by following all the people from said lists at once if you wish to do so, which is why some empty accounts follow 100+ people. Most of these aren't even made by Bluesky, but by other users who want to make the experience better for newcomers. I did this when I signed up too. So... that does not make them bots

Really? I see far fewer bots on Bluesky. It might be a liberal echo chamber at the moment, but I'm happy to use a platform that isn't owned by El*n Musk and isn't promoting shitty content mass-generated by people paying for X Premium.

they even added custom feeds like bluesky

 

I like that the feed is very built for you, unlike twitter where you can always see things about politics/18+
