not Twitter turning their backs on Mother Mariah. is the Jlo Redemption Arc upon us?

It's the age of Elon, Maga, Trump, and America's diabolical era. of course they're siding with Xtincta on X. I don't know a more toxic platform tbh.

She's come a long way from the past. I remember MJB roasting her to Saturn :rip:

The Diddy accomplice talking about anyone's attitude or character - I have to laugh. Mary is a disgusting person.

I'm sure she's more mature now, but why are we acting as if she's known for being "welcoming" to new artists when she dissed Lady Gaga in 2008 by saying that she didn't know if she was a man or a woman...? Not to mention the way she treated Melanie on The Voice, and all her other feuds to boot. :celestial5:

She never dissed Lady Gaga. I'm sure you're aware quotes can be taken out of context. This was said when Christina wasn't aware of Lady Gaga in the absolute beginnings of Gaga's career. She genuinely had no idea. She probably just thought she was some drag queen with that name. Let's be honest.

Melanie was there to be judged on a talent competition. Xtina was honest. People are just too used to fakeass judges on talent competitions with nothing even remotely negative to say about anybody. It's called constructive critisism. If it was Simon Cowell, it would've been long forgotten. Melanie stans love to cling to this.

The divas were all mean back then, but Mariah was the nastiest.

Exactly. Xtina is an angel when compared to that.

Funny thing, Mariah's success remained unaltered and her public persona remained unaffected, meanwhile, Christina after being away from the spotlight for a decade and a much-needed growing seems to be in a much better place musically and personally.

It's lovely that Sabrina is bringing some awareness to Xtina, and don't get me wrong—this is worth celebrating—but let's not change history here. Christina was nasty back in the day, and Mariah held her own like no other.

Mariah hasn't acknowledged Christina in more than a decade and I don't think she's planning on doing it anytime soon. Still, we love the fighters for unearthing old-ass feuds for the sake of remaining relevant on the internet. Let's celebrate that Christina got to perform at a sold-out tour because lord knows when was the last time she did that.
