The album is beautiful, I don't care if it's flopping. The Mountain, Heart of Gold, Nobody Knows, Heavy, Isn't That Enough and Why Why Why are great tracks. There's nothing here that will stick to the mainstream though. He delivered!

 

Streams are not great but that's expected.

I blame all his hippie friends, especially that hippie producer, for influencing him into being a lazy druggie **** like them. And i blame his incompetent team, that sought to delay this album... for a movie?? That no one bar the most obsessed fans, who were already gonna stream the album, were gonna watch?? And of course that useless "social media manager" of his that hasn't worked a day since she was hired. Shawn's kindness made him an easy victim to the absolute worst GRIFTING RATS of Hollywood.

You can keep trying to blame all the people in his life or his team all you want but the real problem is that HE doesn't want it anymore. He's not hungry for it and hasn't been in years and it's time to accept that and move on. An artist's team can only do so much if the artist themselves don't care to promote or have a big era. They can't book him for things if he doesn't want to do them. And that man is 26 years old nobody influencing anything he is grown and is making his own choices I think it's just time to move on.🙏🏾

Exactly, it was the perfect type of sound for him to move into. An album full of bops like those with a few slower(but not slower like this folk stuff he's doing now) songs thrown in would have been a slay,

He was a fad and his fangirls moved on. 

 

He should fully come out to get more publicity and then use the attention to launch a more upbeat "Shape of You" style song after that

Even though he's a John Mayer wannabe but his music is no where near the quality of JM. the lyrics, melodies, and sound are all terrible. No standout single at all. Even his lyrics expressed feelings of depressed and loss are boring.
