BlackBat Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Sign of the times. Artists like him don't feel authentic. Plus, he was away for a long time and when he returned it didn't seem like he was bringing anything new. He was a former viner, so he's gone farther than I expected. 1

He did like 2 podcast interviews where he didn't even talk about his album, popped up at the vmas for a minute, did a single magazine cover and said "that's enough!" Plus Camilla had collabs and I do think the drake one was the one that got the most streams because it was the only song that charted after the album's release. Does that even remotely sound like something that would interest him. A man who idolizes John Mayer making dance pop? I need you to bffr He almost found his sound on the wonder album imo. Songs like higher and piece of you are the direction he should have moved in and he would of stood a chance of doing better imo.

Songs like higher and piece of you are the direction he should have moved in and he would of stood a chance of doing better imo. I think this is his sound because most of his discography is acoustic pop that heavily borrows from like I mentioned John Mayer (and a bit of ed Sheeran) and this is just the natural progression of that. The songs like piece of you and higher are the outliers. For every lost in Japan there's 5 acoustic ballads. And I don't really see him moving away from this sound into more because of how much he loves his acoustic guitar. This was always the career path he was gonna take. Elementary Posted yesterday at 03:10 PM Posted yesterday at 03:10 PM His label's plan last month: - Push the album back 1 month out of nowhere - Release a new single (which sounds as generic and bland as anything else) - Send a paycheck to Camila to get her to talk about him (again) - Have him speak about his sexuality a couple of times to get people talking if all else fails (all publicity is good publicity) what could possibly go wrong? 2
