I actually enjoyed the album very much. Perfect easy listening while doing something else.

 

I find it fascinating how ATRL can cry about stars after they pass after enduring weeks of bullying, and at the same time shitpile them intensely like there are no consequences to it.

Why not? Adam lambert has done all sorts of music, the biggest artists try out different genres, if I told you beyonce should make a country album pre 2022 you would have said the same and look where we are

Well Beyoncé is known for her versatility And she already dabbled with it before with daddy lessons so her doing a country album wasn't expected but I wasn't shocked by it. Not every is versatile or even wants to be versatile. Shawn has only expressed interest in one thing and is happy doing that one thing. He likes acoustic pop, folk and rock and that's what he's gonna stick too.

Most of what's playing nowadays is background music. In fact, that's the pitch most artist get when they make music.

I think that stans are out of touch with what a successful era is in 2024

 

I mean even TTPD is seen as an underperformance which is absolutely ridiculous 

 

CC is also seen as a flop even tho it debuted with 400k, had a #1 and is platinum
