ArtAngels for me but Visions has some of her best songs like Oblivion, Visiting Statue and Be a Body

it's art angels, i like visions but i think it got an outsized reputation because it's the kind of pop album that it was alright to like if you were a pitchfork bro, whereas some of the short songs were a bit lame and the extent of the babyvoice could be wearying. i'm not actually that big on the visions singles, they're ok but it's strongest songs are mainly after that imo

 

whereas art angels is basically an album of dancebop bangers, goes hard and fun, no furrowed brow required. butterfly, pin, kill vs maim are three of my faves of the whole 10s

Sometimes I skip Scream and Easily, but the other songs are all so insanely good! I think World Princess Part 2 is my fav Grimes song.

Visions has more skips for me.

Art Angels is great but Visions is the OG Grimes masterpiece. Truly visionary and the diy approach was so fresh. 

 

That said Realiti (demo) and Flesh Without Blood is lowkey better than anything on Visions.

I feel like most people prefer the album that they first heard of Grimes more than the other. That's the case with me at least. I like Visions more but they're both super strong records and I really only like Visions just a hair more than Art Angels.
