I'm not a katy stan but imagine drop an artist who has so many hits that gives money to the company by royalties way and no talking about leg tours ww... some of you are obsessed with the "flop" thing when this companies are only obsessed with the money thing.

The recurrent streams of her hits are still amazing so the chance of her getting dropped are probably at 0%. And her tour also seems to do fine, so they will eventually get their money back. But it's still crazy how hard the GP rejected Woman's World :rip:

That's because she's an old glory and the song is worse than smegma west fans but maybe she will get a chance if she drops in any moment a catchy good song like never really over haha

Are we supposed to act surprised that the song is not doing good ? This is not new :deadbanana:

All that after almost 5 months without any TTH appearance and only 12.7m in playlisting. Organic. :clap3:

I admire the sensible approach of Katy and her label. There was no point desperately trying to keep it charting, bleeding cash. There have been enough bombs in Hollywood this year, and they chose not to risk people's jobs to prop up a flopping single. Morality wins!

E.T. is still the only Teenage Dream single that never had its viral moment. Crazy because it was the most immediate track to me when I first heard the album in 2010.

NRO :weeps:

Should be getting 1M+ daily!

The new album is really doing terrible :rip:

Didn't she sell her entire catalogue (excluding 143) a while ago? https://variety.com/2023/music/news/katy-perry-sells-catalog-rights-litmus-music-1235726293/
They could drop her. It's not like they earn anything from it :ryan3:

How could she sell the label's share of the master recordings, something she DOESN'T own?

Take your time answering!

She sold her own personal part of ownership in the music catalog. Not the labels. :toofunny3:

How random. Yesterday I streamed "If We Ever Meet Again" for the first time since the Obama administration (what a bop). Glad to have contributed to it outstreaming that abortion of a song :clap3:

Ok. But then what would be the incentive to keep her? Her career is DONE. She's not getting anymore hits anytime soon. And they already have a share in the catalogue (the part that she already didn't have a saying in) so…

I wasn't the one that said that. Who cares if they drop her? I really don't think it matters. The label clearly never had faith in the project anyway.
