Y'all are the same ones that were calling to end online bullying after Liam's tragedy.

This woman has been ignored, ridiculous and bullied by YALL and Hollywood for YEARS. The woman is a force of nature with her talents and she FINALLY was given the opportunity to showcase what she can do as an artist. And because of 2 instagram likes, y'all do THIS??

And if, God forbid, Nicole attempts to take her life because of what is happening right now, because y'all should know she's a VERY emotional human being and takes everything at heart. What then fuckers? Y'all will cry and call for the bullying to stop and then move on to bully the next celebrity on your radar that day.

Y'all are DESPICABLE human beings

Sis, there is a difference between bullying and calling out someone on their bullshxt. Nicole clearly thought since Trump won, she could tweet her little support and ask for a MAGA hat with little backlash. Like Brand has been this way for years, Nicole actively chose to like a photo with a MAGA hat and thought let me tweet to find out where I can get one of those.

Also stop using Liam as a scapegoat just because Nicole is being called out for her recent behavior. At least with Jelly Roll, you could use it because he was being bullied for his weight and getting unwarranted death-threats.

Our sisters at BroadwayWorld Forum are fighting!

Some of us didn't think she deserved the Tony in the first place, so that amendment seems a bit over the top.

Thankfully, this indiscreet peek into her quiet political machinations has allowed the several many of us who did NOT enjoy her work as much as others in SB to have space to express our thoughts. I hate raining on people's parades when they enjoy a show, and if something truly excites folks, energizes others, I stay mum.. but since she is being hung out to dry and her Broadway honeymoon has quickly been snuffed out in this harsh light…

Her Norma felt like an insincere clown show with stellar vocals. Like a drag queen poking fun at Norma with a SUNSET tribute mashup— with all the knowing campiness of "those famous lines" etc. I didn't believe her outside of the songs. Why the ridiculous stage gymnastics and splits? It was all as if the director and star wanted to telegraph that they thought this role, woman and material was ridiculous. So why bother? She is a talented pop vocalist, sure, but character and true storytelling is not happening here. It's all extremely studied vocal dynamics and calculated emotional affectations in the songs—supported by a very talented sound design team. Not powered by the truth of a real actor like the likes of Glenn, Patti, Betty, etc. I think she betrays herself by telling us she thinks she's ridiculous/campy, so we can never trust her to protect Norma's heart going forward. Not the work of a serious actress.

Hope to see Mandy's take.

And you can even see it on a Tuesday night where you'll be supporting Mandy Gonzalez AND Tom in his boxer briefs. And producers might see demand increased on those nights, and the moment having Nicole Make "Jesus" Great Again Scherzinger in the cast harms their wallets but Mandy doesn't maybe we'll see some change!

I think this was horrendous timing for her to come out with this, genuinely. It feels like the entire land area of NYC is in grief to some level and she's surrounded by POC and queer voices but doesn't realize how important it is to protect them. I'm not even very political but her comment is in such poor taste.

Thank GOD someone else said it. I thought I was the only one. She can't act, the line delivery is atrocious, and all she does is play a parody of herself ("TODAAAAAAH IS THE DAAAH OF CLOSAAAAST CONJUNCSHAAAN"). The pop vocals are fine for something like WICKED but not for this. It is not a Tony-worth performance.

I was genuinely moved by Nicole Scherzinger's talent in Sunset Boulevard, enough to buy tickets for my parents. But the moment I saw her showing even a hint of support for Trump, I returned those tickets. Let's be clear: if you stand with Trump, you stand against everything that Broadway, New York, and the arts truly represent.

Sunset Boulevard now needs a new star.

I hope people do some self-reflection on their addiction to knee-jerk reactions of anger and hate, based often on nothing or an interpretation they invented in their minds.

I went to see Sunset Blvd last week, Nicole gave one of the best stage performances I have ever seen. People in the audience were shook and even giving her standing ovations in the middle of the show (which is almost unheard of).

has anyone seen just how openly trump supporting this member became? :rip:

Of course you're defending her

Isn't this the SECOND time she's screwed up her broadway career. I remember her about to do something for the cats musical but did something stupid and messed it up.

she just got in broadways good graces and messed it up again lol. This time much worse.

I LOVE this for her. She ruined the last lifeline of her career. Her music career has been over for years, she likely will ruin her tv career so no more talent shows, and now no broadway.

What a dumbass. She has ruined her career so many times by beings stupid and selfish

I think you guys live in an alternate universe where Kamala's supporters aren't the minority :rip: There's no cancellation coming if the majority of the population have no issue with this.

broadway fans aren't like the majority of the population. just like we, pop culture fans, aren't like the majority of the population

The neurological condition that creates this "post I take disagreement with --> MAGAt/Trumper" short-circuit should really be studied.

Yeah she got an offer to do Cats on broadway but also an offer to do the XFactor. She decided XFactor instead and Leona Lewis got the Broadway spot

What an idiot. She was so gleefully happy Trump won that her dumbass couldn't contain herself and wanted to make it public. The vast majority of her fans (or what's left of it) were from the LGBT community and she actively chose to vote against their rights. She can build a MAGA fanbase instead now.

Patti LuPone watch update:

In case anyone was waiting for Patti's review of Sunset like I was, apparently she did not attend on Nov 6 like she said she would. She was probably too devastated by the election to do anything.

Hopefully she'll still see it if only to drag Nicole whether she's good or not :gaycat5:
