It's actually more effective if men, who are actually perceived as cool and macho, endorse political candidates. Women are seen as naggy so these MPG endorsements especially during rallies look like these celebrities are nagging on the masses. It's bad.

 

We live in a patriarchy, so men's endorsements are more important than women's.
