It just doesn't makes sense especially that religion is dying in the west. Hopefully it's just a phase and when they mature they correct their views. The "DEI woke=bad" culture wars that they are raging on the internet is the new religion. And it's not gonna get any better, since people like Elon would make sure that their bubble would always stay toxic. 5
Badgalbriel Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Yeah, we're over. Society is doomed and we should just live our lives and pretend nothing is happening. There's no point fighting against the powerful when most of the weak is on their side too. It's bringing a knife to a gunfight 12
vale9001 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) The tweet here still writing "gen z White men" He forgot to write "karens" as the next latino catholic woman Is not agains abortion and "kids being mutilated" as them. The polls are literally there and they are still on the clouds Edited November 6 by vale9001
dumbsparce Posted November 6 Posted November 6 They're not conservative. Just dumb and easily impressionable. 5
Blue. Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I am am conflicted saying this as a cis white straight man but also being someone who always leaned for freedom and supports abortion, gender identity, legal marriage for everyone and whatever else you identify with liberals: the far left or the most radicalized liberals have become too noisy, and public demonstrations were we used to protest and fight for those rights now can serve some really gnarly images that do not reflect the causes and end up scaring off moderates and being gunpowder for the conservatives. 4 4 3 2
Bloodflowers. Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Not surprised, my YouTube algorithm is full of conservative influencers making fun off and clowning some cringy TikTok and college liberals the minute I watch some political channel, often some non-partisan like Breaking Points I imagine non-political people come across those and it paints them an image of how average liberal looks and behaves Also there are a lot of minority conservative influencers that get massive views and following, so I am also not surprised Kamala lost those minority votes as well 2
єѕℓαм Posted November 6 Posted November 6 No it's the oldies that need to be put in a coffin and buried already 1
Onyxmage Posted November 6 Posted November 6 So then the issue isnt gen Z its the people trying to indoctrinate them all for views and money. Maybe they should focus on that. 1 3
Soup in Teapot Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) This is actually happening all around the world if you do some research . And I believe the economy declining really causes these changing. Edited November 6 by Soup in Teapot 10 1

These "influencers" take advantage of their desperation. Fox news has been doing it to boomers for decades. Edited November 6 by Onyxmage 1
katara Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) From what I am observing in real life and on the internet the core issue is mostly because most of these young men are undesired by women and they have this idea that they MUST have a woman by their side who is gonna carry their children to complete themselves, that's why they are voting conservative to take women's rights away and basically force women to become their wifes just like it was done so in the past. Rev8 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 It's not true, based on research and polls and Why are they acting like it's all Gen Z's fault? c'mon.. 4
theweekend Posted November 6 Posted November 6 right wing influencers has learned the new way communications are made in the last decade THAT is why gen z tend to be more conservative. leftists lost this battle long ago when they denied to use social media platform with simple/viral posts to convince this new gen also communicating to their needs which are not even close the same it used to be to other generations. 1

People who feel oppressed when they aren't are so Ah come on, theres no ******* excuse to be a hateless motherfucker to people if you feel neglected. It just means they are evil people; Gen Z

Can't wait until they continue miserable and single with a Trump presidency. Though we can not rule out a true dyospian society in the line of Handmaid's Tail coming at one point in the future if things continue on this path.
Saint James Posted November 6 Posted November 6 we need to stop using tweets as a start and end point of discussion. 2
Venice B Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) Yeah millennials were too easy on them only because they were scared of treating them like past generations treated us and look what we got. Gen Z deserved a lot more lashings tbh, let's hope Gen Alpha whoop their asses. Edited November 6 by Venice B 9 1 1
Peroxide Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I hate to say it but we need to find a way to reach out to these disaffected men - they've been radicalised and lost to the right... we gotta find a way to bring them back without throwing minorities under the bus. 1 2
AshleyLovescats887 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I fear gen alpha won't be doing much either, considering that most of them already have tablets in their eyes at 1. We are just doomed 3 1
Popular Post BrentB Posted November 6 Popular Post Posted November 6 (edited) I have a theory & I think a lot of us here might feel this way to some extent. So I feel like as time went on & we moved from the 00s to the 10s, a time where you saw the collective slowly warming up to LGBT issues albeit it was still the dark ages lbr (circa 2009-2015 ish), we had shows like Glee, Gaga & BTW era, all the early 2010s self-esteem anthems, the It Gets Better campaign (what a time to be alive pretty much ) to start to plant the seeds in the collective's psyche that we're just as human and we just want to live life without being harassed & put down all the time. People weren't exposed to the extremities & lone-wolf "loonies" of the left as much then, so it didn't cloud their judgment & scare any moderates clear from supporting our causes, even though not many were supporting us at the time. I feel like things starting to backfire & the ultimate message of our cause started to get lost in the sauce around 2016 as social media kept steady growing. Gen Z had a front row seat to the worst of the worst (or more extreme colored wig loons) of our kind & social media only really seemed to push the loonies through the algorithm for clicks & views. Plus one thing that I recently realized about Gen-Z as a whole, is that they have admittedly been exposed to a hyper-sexualized media which also glamorized a lot of toxic behavior & things like blind celebrity worship, BBLs, drug references in songs & movies which could explain why a lot of them might be turning to more conservative values & religions as a whole to "detox" from this collective generation brain-rot. As a result, they end up throwing the baby out with the bathwater so to speak, by counting the LGBT as nothing but merely an artifact of a messed-up time period. And, of course, a large subset of the world population are, as well know, hypocritical & low iq, evil worms-for-brain dimwits, they don't have an ability to compartmentalize & check their own biases & hypocricies. They see images of decrepits gays having public orgies at Folsom Street Fair in broad daylight & they think "ThEy'Re AlL lIkE tHaT!" We didn't gatekeep enough IMO. We didn't hit back hard enough against attacks & distortion of our collective image. Every other group does this. As much as it's not our job to continuosly debunk & clear up all the false misconceptions aimed at us, it's unfortunate, but we share the planet with a bunch of dull-minded whores, that need their alphabets spelled out for them. We should have had public figures with a strong, heavy cadence & conviction in their words, that we ALL rallied against to go toe to toe with the Andrew Tates & Logan Pauls of the world. I think this a lesson for all of us the next time we find ourselves at this point in history (if there is a next time). We don't share the world with like-minded awesome people that are able to compartmentalize & make sound judgements on an entire group of people. We're have to move accordingly as much as it sucks & is unfair tbh. Edited November 6 by BrentB 16
