Yet here we are, still in 2024, Lady Gaga sits comfortably at #2 on the US charts with the biggest hit of the year. A hit that still pulls over 10m daily streams on Spotify all over the world, even 3 months after release, potentially even challenging to break the record for 'fastest song to reach a billion streams' on the streaming platform's history. "Die With A Smile" also remains the #1 song on Apple Music all over the world. Her newest lead single "Disease" remains stable in the Top 20 globally on Apple Music. Disease also just got a nice Top 30 debut on the Hot 100, the same week as DWAS reached its new top peak. Are you surprised? Disease is the least commercially-appealing, radio-friendly song of Gagala's career. The video, however, is very interesting and the best since Applause. I hope she has got a huge radio song for single #2. 4

She's also an extremely talented, beloved, respected and successful musician and performer and will remain so forever, something 99% of ATRL faves are not thus all the envy and seething. So yes, she's a winner, champion! A Cirkut track straight outta 2010 = "arts". Yup yup. 3 3

So it's understandable that Gaga is winning and they are fuming It flopped. My fave Miley had arguably the biggest hit of last year, Flowers.

Lol You guys still seem to intentionally keep out the #1 global mega smash hit "Die With A Smile". Which is definitely not just an achievement, but it's THE achievement of the year. About Disease: no one said it's a smash out of the gate or that it is performing very strongly. It just has a nice debut so far, there is nothing wrong with saying that. In my eyes, a debut in the Top 30 for a single while also being #2 on the same charts with one of your future classic signature ballads, is a nice achievement, yes. 1 1
prézli Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Continuing? Joker 2 is like the biggest flop of all time. 1 3 1 2

Gurl, Bruno is also smashing with APT. DWaS is HIS song, it even has his Style and not Gaga's, you cannot attribute that to her. I love her but be real lol.

Of course you can attribute it to her, it's literally her song (as well) and she is having the first lead credit.

Do you realize how misogynistic it is to completely erase the two women contributing to those two songs' successes? 1
ChandlerBing Posted November 8 Posted November 8 She had like 3 full blown projects back to back completely bomb. Some of you are very delulu. DWAS is her Moves Like Jagger, cute but not really important for her, it is about Bruno who is a mega star and always relevant. 3 1
Enigmatica Posted November 9 Posted November 9 #27 with little to no promo?? I'll take that as a win yup yup besides, Gaga has cemented herself as a multi-talented artist. At this point, everyone I know knows her as being a great vocalist, artist, philanthropist, etc. 1
