You missed the point that she SIMULTANEOUSLY has the WW BIGGEST SONG of 2024 getting a new peak in Billboard hot 100. Also, Disease is #14 on Billboard Global 200 (14th biggest song in the world) which is not BAD AT ALL, Don't let the #27 HOT 100 fool you, Disease is performing better WW.

If Beyonce lands 2 songs in the top 15 of Global 200, It would certainly be a win. Anyone with a brain can tell that irrespective of the fave/fandom.

Period. It's not really hard to understand. She is having the biggest song of the year and one of her career in general, this is low key another Shallow moment, just without the Oscars and movie. The acclaim and viral, beloved viral performance is there.

You seem to have a problem. This said problem might come from the fact that it is hard for you to cope with "Woman's World" not debuting inside the Top 60. Otherwise, it is hard for me to explain why you would think that it didn't read it like a "flex" to you.

Gaga is winning, as usual.

:giraffe:

Nope, i dont have a problem with Katy flopping and I'm not denying her floppage either so idk what you're trying to prove by bringing that. It's just another day for me and her career won't have any effect on my life.

You, on the other hand, are tryna twist Gaga's colossal floppage of her highly payola'd lead single into some kinda win. You're incapable of taking the L and hence you created this thread. So if there's anybody that's "coping" here, that's you. Not me, sweetie. Hope that helps.

This is her only win this year and it's thanks to Bruno Mars lmao.

she released a movie, an album and a lead single and all were colossal bombs.

please be forreal :ryan3:

and yet the Op is fighting everyone who says otherwise in here.

If my "only win" for the year is the biggest song of the year, or one of at least, then hell, I will take it over anything else. You sound a little off-record.

DWAS' success has nothing to do with Gaga lmao

it's like me saying that Unholy was a mega smash bc of Kim Petras like what is not clicking  :deadbanana4:

a top 30 while also having the #2 SMASH of the country as you say is the reason why Top 30 is not a good debut. just take the L and move on.

Not the highly payolad lead single on Spotify and radio debuting at #27 AFTER the Bruno collab exposure being a "win" :ahh:

I'm trying to figure out since when is every song released during an ongoing smash expected to smash as well?

As if people are expected to automatically resonate with 2 sounds that sound nothing alike. You people and your braindead f***ing logic fhdjskjdh

The Monsters are completely delusional

Joker is one of the biggest bombs ever and Disease will be forgotten in 2 weeks time but yeah she is winning with a Bruno Mars song

We are expecting a smash because the Liddos told us so s:wan: s:wan:

All the popgirls rushed their releases during the first part of the year cos they knew Gaga is coming back STRONG! Now it all makes sense

Clearly, the focus for Harlequin wasn't commercial success in the first place

We can clearly see that already with the facts that :

* the physical copies of the album are being shipped on different tracking weeks WW, which will make its WW debuts tragic

* in the US, those physical copies aren't even available outside of her store, will will make its sales' debut tragic

Let's just enjoy the music and wait for LG7's lead which will be out in less than 3 weeks. This project is just a bonus for us and a happy thing for Gaga!

if someone releases their lead for their upcoming album while also having a big smash at the top of the charts, people expect that lead to do great because it should benefit from that success as it puts the artist at the very top, reaching a new audience beyond their usual listeners. nobody is asking Disease to smash as hard as DWAS, and to be quite fair here LMs were the ones who were spreading the word about how the lead will be a big hit after the Harlequin fiasco, but it's safe to say that it should have gotten bigger numbers regarding the spotlight Lady Gaga has because of "the second biggest song in the US".

it's okay to accept that a single from your favorite artist is underperforming instead of giving arguments that you people wouldn't use if it was an artist you don't like. especially when LMs in this site have constantly downplayed other artists successes, mocked and laughed at their flops and underperformances, and invented all types of rules and parameters of what constitutes a hit or a flop. it's funny how narratives always change depending on who people stan/hate. it's a never-ending cycle on ATRL, it seems.

With a failed movie, a failed soundtrack and a failed solo lead, I wouldn't go as far as calling this year a win for her, given that the only success she's seeing currently is thanks to a super generic collaboration with someone who's having a second hit in a row without her. But at least her lead is a good one lol.

monsters saying a top 30 debut isn't bad for a lead single from gaga is crazy when you remember that they dragged Bey during the CC era (lead single went #1) and Rih for Lift me up (#2 debut with a soundtrack)💀💀💀

I'm sure there's more examples too…

But yeah,  she keeps winning 🤣

A top 30 is not bad and I say that as a casual fan, not a Monster. Especially counting (and it makes absolutely no sense to not count it) Die With A Smile, it makes her whole situation even better.

However, there is no need to make fun of Lift Me Up and Cowboy Carter. Both projects did well too.

Was he #2 on the Billboard Hot 100? Like Lady Gaga is right now? 🤣

a #2 and a #27 hit is great for a female artist that's 16 years into her career. none of her peers other than Taylor are doing better.

Adele, Rihanna, Beyonce (even tho she's not her peer) and the list goes on

Rihanna is retired and DWAS is bigger than Lift Me Up (which has more streams similar to Hold My Hand) so no, although her recurrent streams are very impressive.

Adele releases once every 6 years now and has lower overall streams than Gaga.

Gaga outsells Miley, Katy, Kesha, Nicki, Selena Gomez... so that leaves only Taylor. So where exactly does the list go?

How difficult it is to just take the L and move on? :deadbanana4: if this was ANY other pop girl liddos would not let them or their fans breathe, but now Gaga serving a Pretty Girls size of chart debut is supposed to be a good thing? Please be serious.

I'm sorry but this is so funny because if Taylor, Britney, Beyonce, Billie, Rihanna, Katy, Adele etc all had a lead single that debuted and will most likely peak at 27 - the first people that would call them flops are the monsters but when it's Gaga all of a sudden it's a win?

I have to cackle

The sneak when her last lead single tanked below top 70. :rip:

OT: Yes Gaga, yes success. :clap3:
