Well, like I said before. #27 is a really good debut when you consider the fact that others might not even chart inside the Top 50 with their lead singles. Also, the video is doing good numbers and it will help the song in the long run to stabilize, hopefully. It is looking for her. :giraffe:

This is such a weird take

Just because someone else is flopping doesn't negate the fact that she is a failure too?

In this case we could excuse every single chart run saying «oh at least she charted, some people don't even get to put music out»

the truth is, this has been an awful year for her. Aside from that Bruno Mars collab she only experienced catastrophic failures

I hope you're trolling cause this does not read like a flex to me :dies:

I just stopped reading at "she is a failure too". I am literally laughing out loud right now.

DIE WITH A SMILE is #2 on the Hot 100 this week. There is nothing else we have to discuss.

Gaga has the second most consumed song of the week in the United States. That is far from flopping.

Happy November. Take a couple of breaths outside in this Fall weather.

You seem to have a problem. This said problem might come from the fact that it is hard for you to cope with "Woman's World" not debuting inside the Top 60. Otherwise, it is hard for me to explain why you would think that it didn't read it like a "flex" to you.

Gaga is winning, as usual.

Only one of them is a Collab with Gaga.
Bruno was able to replicate DWAS success with another song while Gaga was not meaning he is the one responsible for it's success. #ThankYouBruno

Gaga's still part of one of them, still seen as having a successful song by people with less narrow, petty, mud racked minds. So happy for her!

Gaga served both arts (Disease) and charts (DWAS) this year.

She's also an extremely talented, beloved, respected and successful musician and performer and will remain so forever, something 99% of ATRL faves are not thus all the envy and seething.

So yes, she's a winner, champion!

The goalposts really keep changing huh.

So happy for DWAS (deserved #1 for sure) but Disease is just not it, and it's not doing well, so that's not a win. Thankfully she has DWAS, which is definitely a win.

Overall she's doing fine, hopefully she can have a great followup and redeem herself.

I'm sorry but this is so funny because if Taylor, Britney, Beyonce, Billie, Rihanna, Katy, Adele etc all had a lead single that debuted and will most likely peak at 27 - the first people that would call them flops are the monsters but when it's Gaga all of a sudden it's a win?

I have to cackle

You missed the point that she SIMULTANEOUSLY has the WW BIGGEST SONG of 2024 getting a new peak in Billboard hot 100. Also, Disease is #14 on Billboard Global 200 (14th biggest song in the world) which is not BAD AT ALL, Don't let the #27 HOT 100 fool you, Disease is performing better WW.

If Beyonce lands 2 songs in the top 15 of Global 200, It would certainly be a win. Anyone with a brain can tell that irrespective of the fave/fandom.

I wouldn't necessarily call Disease a win commercially nn. But the thing is, I believe she's reached a point in her career where she can have several bombs and still be relevant. Her name/brand are not tarnished so there's always a chance for her to do well again (like she's had one of the biggest songs globally throughout the Joker/Harlequin/Disease mess). I don't think the same can be said about every other singer on the boat.

And even if Disease isn't a smash, it still has the fans and the critics love. She's respected and seen as a talented artist already, so she can't really lose that status.

And this. Centuries might pass by and the world will still be just the USA :rip:

If my "only win" for the year is the biggest song of the year, or one of at least, then hell, I will take it over anything else. You sound a little off-record.
