shimind Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Joanne has that timeless appeal while Chromatica belongs in 2020. So Joanne

JackOfHearts Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Alice - Diamond Heart Stupid Love - A-Yo Rain on Me - Joanne Free Woman - John Wayne Fun Tonight - Dancin' in Circles 911 - Perfect Illusion Plastic Doll - Million Reasons Sour Candy - Sinners Prayer Enigma - Come To Mama Replay - Hey Girl Sine From Above - Angel Down 1000 Doves - Grigio Girls Babylon - Just Another Day Oh no, it's a tie. If we throw in the Angel Down work tape and Love Me Right it doesn't even change anything cause I don't like either of them. :s
ahauntingnearu Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Chromatica over Trashcanne no question. They're both the bottom of her discog, but still
Kanye West Posted November 5 Author Posted November 5 4 hours ago, Kevin Parker said: How is it the standout of the album when it has nothing to do with its core sound or theme? And I ask this genuinely and politely, not in a shady "I'm right" way. To me the best song on Joanne is easily the title track; great vocals, musicianship, lyrics and melody. Dancin' In Circles is just the best song on the album. Best composition. It also just sounds more like a Lady Gaga song and is less generic. It's the only one I could listen to more than once besides Diamond Heart. Joanne is just kind of a mess because she reworked the album halfway through but still kept a few of the original LG5 songs which are unrelated to the new album direction 1
Kanye West Posted November 5 Author Posted November 5 Why is everyone posting the same nonsensical comparison. Those songs have nothing in common with each other. Just say which album you like better
Homebrand Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Alice - Diamond Heart Stupid Love - A-Yo Rain on Me - Joanne (I do think Joanne is one of her most underrated songs though, but ROM is pop perfection) Free Woman - John Wayne Fun Tonight - Dancin' in Circles 911 - Perfect Illusion Plastic Doll - Million Reasons Sour Candy - Sinners Prayer Enigma - Come To Mama Replay - Hey Girl Sine From Above - Angel Down 1000 Doves - Grigio Girls Babylon - Just Another Day I guess Chromatica, but a fraction surprisingly. Joanne is a decent project though, but kinda gets dull for me after Million Reasons.
