Hot100 needs to get rid of radio, its ridiculous how some songs stay top 10 just because radio refuses to drop them

I don't understand this. Because you don't like how the charts look, you want a rule to prevent them from… reflecting popularity? What's next? Only allowing songs with critical acclaim to chart?

This Top 10 has felt largely the same since early summer of this year - we're now well into fall. It's getting ridiculous. ATP I'm excited for the christmas songs to come on and swing them all out. Hopefully we get a totally new batch of hits in there come January.

Inb4 A Bar Song goes back to #1 to break the Lil Nas X record in January because there are no new hits and the pop girls keep flopping due to releasing bad music that nobody likes.

It could actually return to #1 on January  

Usually the last song that it's #1 before Christmas takes over returns to #1 on January

 

2021-2022: Easy on Me

2022-2023: Anti-hero

2023-2024: Lovin on Me

 

Unless a new smash is released the first week of January...

Although Yes and? comes with an asterisk, as it was #1 for only a week, and Lovin on Me returned back to #1. Texas Hold 'Em/Carnival (on 2/9 and 2/11) were the ones that ended Lovin on Me's #1 for good.

It's not that easy.

30 points gap and sales are dead. Gaga has a big fanbase and Die with a smile is selling only 16k with physicals and digital versions combined and Bruno was promoting it a lot this past week releasing live, instrumental and acoustic versions

 

Not to mention that Radio is not dropping A Bar Song

it's kinda fun that the huge sales week this year was for Hiss thanks largely to stanwars

 

better than last year when it was 2 maga anthems
