So you want both American minorities and the people of Gaza to suffer? Is this comment a gross dismissal of human rights? Or just a dangerous lack of intelligence? If you don't understand how the US & Israel's actions in Gaza or that a government that openly funds & supports genocide = direct implications for Americans, and particularly minority & black Americans - then there's no point conversing with you on this matter. Gaza is a training ground for your military & police force. A government that can do this to another people will not pause at doing it to their own - it's already been happening. But good luck to your brand of "Racist authoritarianism, but make it featuring abortion & rainbows!". I hope you feel empowered & you get the change you seek & that the desecration of international law & the blood & limbs of Palestinians is ultimately worth it, for you, specifically. To be clear: Americans can/should/will vote for whoever they deem is in their best interest. That's fine. The public advocacy and attempts to greenwash heinous crimes & rehabilitate the image of this candidate as a "moral" duality to the other, is not fine, nor is it accurate, nor is it honest. KatyPrismSpirit Posted November 2 Posted November 2 This is so humiliating. Did she actually read her whole speech from her phone? Are people actually ghostwriting even her speeches now? Kamala shouldn't have brought Cardi B out to this rally since 1) Cardi B completely lost her cultural momentum compared to Invasion of Privacy/WAP and 2) This speech definitely does NOT stimulate people to vote for Kamala whatsoever. It looks rushed through and extremely unprofessional. 2 8
popmusicisdead Posted November 2 Posted November 2 of course fans of the anti-vaxx, "There are some points he has made" rapstress has a problem with this. stick to campaigning against Sex offender regulations 2 1
Princess Aurora Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I think JLO did the best speech. Cardi did good 1
WalkAway Posted November 2 Posted November 2 This was a great speech, very entertaining. At least she's not pro-Trump like some other coke-binging rappers. 2

Mornings Posted November 2 Posted November 2 There's so much at stake in this election like the lives of our immigrants whose asylum cases have can be in limbo for decades who work legally and pay taxes. For marginalized communities equal rights. We all know trumps record of appointment judges to carry out his extremist plans. those saying it's more important to sit quiet and say nothing are just as evil as the ones not speaking up about evils in Gaza IMO. Because we know Kamala losing is not going to make that situation better and is going to prove ZERO points 4

EnterTheAttic Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I love Cardi but this was low key a mess. The speech itself was average and the whole teleprompt malfunction threw her off and she underperformed. And it's a shame because we know how passionate she is about politics. We've seen it and we've seen her do better! It's ok though :-)
State of Grace. Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Disappointing. Her politics were actually good and she was one of the few celebs with the moral spine to address the genocide. But I can see why they recruited her to do this. And not yall jumping FOCK for stating the truth 3 4
BOOM! Posted November 2 Posted November 2 The "one second, guys, one second" part... Her standing there in the silence waiting for the phone... Her new face serving mannequin... 1
ImpressMeMuch Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Why does this speech or an endorsement mean her politics have changed? news flash - one of the two of them are going to win the election. Good for her for being in the right side of history. Turn up the fire after. She obviously wasn't going to critique Kamala at a rally lol. 1

X~MoviePoP Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Why are we attacking someone using their platform for good? Cardi may not have the best presentation skills but doesn't mean she should be bullied. Her heart was in the right place and she tried. Technical difficulties and what not shouldnt crucify someone 1

Tovitov Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Once she got her phone she was fire. And like I said last night, 90% of the ladies we stan would struggle in the same exact situation. Public speaking is a completely different skill than performing. 1
ImpressMeMuch Posted November 2 Posted November 2 (edited) Stan wars can be put aside days out from an election with such high stakes if you have a problem with a celebrity endorsing Kamala at this moment you are simply not someone worth engaging with right now tbh! Hiphopper Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Y'all can't be serious dragging Cardi using her phone for her speech. Did you notice how many numbers she mentioned during her speech? Good luck with remembering all those numbers when you're giving a speech, oh wait, nobody would EVER invite a keyboard nerd to give a speech. NEVER MIND. ot Cardi
