Nobody cares about this stupid website or takes anything they say seriously. Stop looking for approval from misogynistic edgelord hetero men - they are not the tastemakers.

I listened to the album and i don't get why it's getting rave reviews. It's mid af.

But good for her. At least she's doing well critically.

yeah f*ck them super hard for this sh*t

I've always had mixed opinions on Halsey, but this album is actually fantastic and raw and fulfills everything Halsey has ever claimed and purported to be about. it's like a thesis statement of her life, and it's truly beautiful and awe-inspiring. as someone who has dragged and also praised Halsey, this time i'm doing nothing but praising. f*ck pitchfork for this mess.

one of the writer's critiques being "she didn't impersonate these artists well enough"

…..?

You can't win. She clearly said it was an inspiration not that she was trying to copy their sound and sound like them. I mean, imagine if each song sounded like the artist it inspired. The album would be so messy and they'd tear her apart.

Pitchfork really did her dirty this time.

Half of that review is about previous album and collarations. At least 3 times the reviewer brings up Without Me. Like why? Clearly it's not on this album. Also Without Me may be her biggest hit but it's not the best song she ever released like, they should know that lol. I bet you this reviewer only listen to half of each song, expecting them to sound like the aetist she was inspired by, and when wrote their review based on that in 15 minutes. Lol.

Good thing I don't need critics to tell me when an album is enjoyable. The Great Impersonator an 88 in my eyes. :clap3:
