She gets lows sales because her promo is almost nonexistent and her physicals are never ready until months after.

Thissss.

Tbh I'm excited that she wants this to be THE album of her career…b/c maybe that means she'll actually do promo (outside of just performances).

Tbh…Planet Her also could've been even bigger had she actually promoted it the week of release.

OT: Let's just wait and see.  She changes genres MULTIPLE times before the album actually gets released. :rip:

Agora Hills and PTTR is saying otherwise.  She'll be fine if she does go back to Pop.

But I need it to be a more evolved Pop sound.  Too many other artists trying to make a Doja-like sound.  It's a little overdone now.

But I have faith she'll add a twist to it…to make it interesting.

Pop/RnB? We won! :duca:

Give us streets 2.0

I don't know I have a good feeling this era :jonny6:

Posted

Hopefully not straight up pop like Say So / KMM :'(

She needs something like Normani's Candy Paint tbh. Doja would've made that song a smash. Or go the Tinashe route :WAP:

give us songs like 'Streets' pleaseeee

I loved Scarlet but she really needs to put the pretentious anti-pop mentality aside and embrace the fact that she's the ultimate main pop girl hitmaker of the 2020s. Very here for another pop/r&b album.

Scarlet needed to be done in order for the industry to take her as a real artist. not just another pop artist that comes and goes.

and now that she cemented that. i agree it's time to make more hits.

that sound would be so tired and overdone by the time she released her next album, so please not.

want it more like planet her less scarlet (ot:paint the town red is wonderful)

please let it be nothing like say so/kiss me more…retreading that dated disco pop sound is not the move she needs to make at this point in her career. i'm hoping the album is a good combination of agora hills level bops but with a forward-thinking pop sound

will she ever make a rock album?  it's more needed from her than a pop/r&b album, she already did that many times before. a rock album would be the perfect continuation of her artistic progress too after scarlet & we heard how good she can do it with celebrity skin & some other unreleased snippets :jonny:

I'm seated. Planet Her is the definition of an album that is full of bop. Also, she is capable of delivering bops all the time so I'm not worrying about it. I did enjoy Scarlet, to be honest but I get why some didn't f with that album. its good to see a change and I saw that in scarlet.  so excited for album and hoping its coming early next year.
