Going from a year like 2023 to 2024 for her standards is definitely her career being in shambles. It's the way it is. It's okay. It was bound to happen soon anyway.

p3GUFoa.gif

Hasn't she moved albums units at a faster rate in 2024 than 2023 though? 15M already in the US with 2 months to go compared to 17M in 2023.

Gaga still has a song in the top ten, although y'all want to pretend it's Bruno's song for some reason. Still though, It's not been a great year for our girls :gaycat6:

Well, the same thing is happening that also happened to the girls before. Younger girls are around and so they kinda have been replaced (no shade). It also happened with Xtina, Britney, Avril, Kelly, etc. they are at a different stage of their careers transitioning from mainstream superstar to icon/legend (so basically legacy act). This is not necessarily a bad thing if they've accomplished great impact and success during their respective peaks.

Including Taylor in conversations like these is absolutely pathetic. Her 2023-2024 run so far is absolutely unparalleled for anyone else who debuted in the 2000s, not to mention on a historical level.

I blame the election. All the gays are too scared to stream. 2025 will be better...

Spoiler

If Kamala wins hopefully :gaycat6:

But mama we wanna see HITS like Cruel Smasha. That's how we KNOW everyone is TUNED in. Yes, ofcourse, OFCOURSE TTPD made waves. Everyone wanted to know why she was Down Bad.mp3 for Ratty. We all catched the deliberate painting of herself as the villain to prepare for Reputa TV. But are the SONGS loved? Are they being consumed en masse on an individual level like Sabrina's Bed Chemique?

Dua hasn't even released an album since 2020. Can we please wait for Vertigo / Chaos Theory before we make any assumptions. Her psychdelic Ray Of Light smasha is coming!

But where are the REAL GP hits like Anti-Hero and Cruel Summer? Has the album been consumed by the GP? Has it even left the living rooms and bedrooms of Swifties?

p3GUFoa.gif

Swifties ARE the GP, sister

Surely you know that by now :ryan3:

- Taylor had the second biggest album debut week of all time, a number one hit + biggest tour of all time

- Gaga (and Bruno) are breaking records on Spotify with DWAS being one of the biggest hits ever

- Ariana had 2 number one hits this year and an acclaimed album

- Beyonce had a global number one hit

- Rihanna having insane recurrent streams without lifting a finger

- Adele had the biggest concert residency of all time

Seems like they are all doing exceptionally well. Of course you can spin this around when you just look at their flops but lets be real, when you are having a career for this long you gonna have underperformances, but they still keep staying relevant.

So Lover is more succesful than TTPD? We're gonna have to fix that. Let's make sure Reputa TV overshadows both!

Then where are the strihms?

Taylor yesterday - 63.824M

Billie yesterday -  40.352M

Sabrina yesterday - 32.549M

Surely these new GP girlies would be out streaming the washed up has been? Surely Taylor should be seeing GaGa numbers, no?

Well sadly and undeservingly yes. Lover is gonna end up second to only 1989 when all is said and done. But I would still like to hear you say "I was wrong my bad" instead of switching gears and topics.

Spoiler

And I don't want to rain on your parade but Puta is only bigger than evermore out of her last 8 albums so don't get your hopes up too much for Rep TV, although it will have a wonderful debut I'm sure.

Short N' Sweet (12 songs) - 25M daily

HHMAS (10 songs) - 19M daily

______________________________________________________

TTPD (31 songs) - 12.1M daily

Midnights was doing 13M daily in April 2023, six months after it's release, with 11 less songs. What is going on?
