I'd be happy to see "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" dethroning Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" as the longest-running chart-topper of the 2020s stateside. Of course, its current longevity is benefitting a lot from excessive airplay presence, in addition to radio programmers being shockingly slow to support current streaming forces "Die With A Smile", "Taste", and even "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" (currently stuck at #5 on radio estimates, behind springtime hits "Espresso" and Hozier's "Too Sweet"). But that's on Billboard's frustrating formula and the frequent biases that have historically plagued the airplay medium. As it is, I still really enjoy Shaboozey's hit and what its success represents for black artists in country music.

But as much as I'm relieved that Morgan Wallen's dull "Love Somebody" won't be as big as most were expecting, we're definitely long overdue for a new multi-week #1.

Edit: Also... "Lose Control" has massively overstayed its welcome. Good grief...

It just feels wrong that it's achieved more weeks in the top 10 than "Flowers", "Levitating", "Circles", "Cruel Summer", and "As It Was". Baffling, really.

Returns? When did it fall from there in the first place?

Morgan Wallen's "Love Somebody" is expected to debut atop on Monday.

Meanwhile DWAS is looking to catch a new peak at #2. Did the better song win?

Having your lead single fail to hit the top 15 while another song you're on is heading to the top 2 is kinda hilarious

No wonder she never bothers making pop music and ignores her fans, the public don't want this music anymore :weeps:

I'm pretty sure it's missing the Top 30*. Streams collapsed, its AM performance is mediocre, apparently has no physicals, and radio won't be that high to carry it. At least it's a great song unlike the last lead. :deadbanana4:

Perfect Illusion keeps winning though. Oh the Top 15 hit that you are. :gaycat5:

Interscope needs to discount DWAS to $0.69 and drop the EP (acoustic/instrumental/sped up/slowed down) on streaming :jonnykin: it's so close

Not this snatching Perfect Illusion's wig as GaGa's worst performing lead single :deadbanana2:
