Tbh I'm really surprised, I give it like a 7 based on first impression.

7.5/8 on first listen. But Gaga singles are usually growers for me, I remember the largely negative initial reaction to Bad Romance with people calling it a poor man's Poker Face and that her grating vocals ruined the song.

8/10 for me! For now! Might grow, but it doesn't need to, it's already gonna be in regular rotation.

7.5/10 first impression, but I can see this growing on me. The instrumental is pretty cool, but, for me, it would take some time for this to reach the same level as something like Dance in the Dark or Alejandro.

Like a 6/10. It's not bad but her post Dope vocals just don't do it for me. The lyrics were extremely basic and the whole song feels like she's trying to imitate her 2010 sound, but she doesn't have it in her anymore. Sounds like a mesh of a BTW song and Stupid Love.

I refuse to rate this song properly without the video. My initial reaction is that the subject matter is bit of a retread for her and the actual lyrics while painfully generic overall, sound a bit less jarring in the context of the song? The pre-chorus is nice, but the chorus is way too shouty and not catchy enough to me unfortunately. Shame because I like the rock elements in there. And speaking of rock elements I think I prefer her "The Joker" cover over this lol.

8/10. Surprised to learn that this song was almost 4 minutes when everyone was trying to made 2 minutes songs. No wonder this song feel more satisfied and complete to listen because there's proper build up on the flow. Hopefully this could encourage people to release longer songs.
