The song is huge in east asia and SEA - #1 on every domestic chart in korea, #1 on youtube in many countries including India and even german speaking countries, viral in china and mega viral on instagram and tiktok. It is even causing a rise in the songs of the other blackpink solos on spotify, youtube and korean charts.

 

Bruno and Rose both have a huge global audience,  huge hype behind their releases, song is instantly catchy and meme-able + good marketing - thats where the incredible streams are coming from.

 

 

The song is doing well on Apple music too and i think its got 2 versions that werent combined there

 

 

 

Anyway the real FRAUD is JIMIN hogging that #1 spot on spotify korea with almost 1 billion streams on spotify ....but not charting anywhere on any other platform.

The world doesn't revolve around the US it's #2 Apple Music Global charts, and is breaking records in Korea and doing well in East Asia, and Europe, LATAM. Miley stans it's time to wake up.

I don't think anyone is denying that it's global.

However, the fact that it's number one on Spotify US and hasn't even cracked the top 50 on Apple US is very odd..... even with two versions

The same could be said for Drivers License or other songs that had a similar trajectory.

When ANY song smashes this hard, it's consistent across multiple platforms, she'd doing 14M on Spotify Global but not even number one on Apple Music Global.........

Oh i don't disagree, i do find the discrepancy odd, there's probably some payola at play there, same with The Weeknd who also had the same thing happen with songs of him. I just find funny how that user just HAD to insert Miley into it just because she's his fave 

 

I mean Miley stans don't have much to gloat about outside of Flowers so i can of get it but still, the way some stans just shoehorn their faves into EVERYTHING can be so annoying

Yeah, her albums have been showing really poor longevity for over 10 years now, if it wasn't for other bigger artists given her a platform she'd be long gone by now. But she's fabulous for a The Fame throwback i guess
