Sabrina's performance isn't on par in North America largely due to A Bar Song, which is going to spend a 15th week at #1 in the US and a 21st week at #1 in Canada. ABS has been as dominant in North America as Sabrina's singles in the UK/Australia.

jdanton2 Posted October 18 Posted October 18 not sure Sabrina will break the record which is 28 weeks . the previous artist to do it was probably an artist most never heard of here . he was from the US like Sabrina and had more success with his songs in the UK than the US. Quote The last, and only other, artist to do so was crooner Frankie Laine all the way back in 1953, during the infancy of the Official Singles Chart. Reaching 28 weeks in total at Number 1 that year, Laine spent 18 non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 with I Believe (still the all-time record for the UK's longest-running Number 1 single), two weeks with Hey Joe and eight with Answer Me.

Taste will be getting hit by ACR after 2 weeks so probably not.
