I don't know why i'm jumping in and saying anything but as someone who's life was thrown into chaos as a child and was surrounded by drug users from a young age, **** them.

The irony is lost on you because this is exactly what happened to Liam. He was thrust into an industry at 16 where drugs are readily available. There was very little duty of care or safeguarding, only exploitation. If anything, you should empathise with him.

If only it were that simple.

Granted, Liam had far more resources than most people. But addiction takes on so many permutations that there is no one-size-fits-all solution.

Also you never know if any of the drugs aren't laced with something potentially more dangerous. Stigmatising rather than focusing on harm reduction does the exact opposite of what people try to achieve when generalising about addiction.

Cheryl and him did a great job protecting their son's privacy. Hopefully it will remain that way.

The funeral is going to be heart-wrenching.

I didnt even know he had a kid til the news came out

Im sorry but I have no sympathy for drug addicts.Go te rehab or get the help you need. We all would love to get high on drugs to forget our troubles, frustations or abuses we went through but I have more respect for people who rise above them. Because of drugs, he lost his life, left a child fatherless and stopped his life short at such a young age. Maybe he was resentful of not having any solo success but you get a new team and go see shrinks and put some order and peace in your life.

Booo 🍅🍅🍅

I hate it when people assume that rehab is the fix all, it's not. Studies show that on average 40-60% of people remain abstinent for a year after rehab. Liam went to rehab for 100 days back in 2023. Drug addiction—or any addiction for that matter isn't something you can easily control, so when people like you say "JuST go tO ReHAb :juanny:" makes me roll my eyes super hard.

Tea, I fought my severe depression by doing yoga and drinking more water. Now I'm cured

I've always liked Night Changes, but it's aged extremely well in so many ways. Definitely one of my top ten favorites from the first half of the 2010's :heart2:

Not sure if this is just (another) click bait rumour, but it was on TV earlier saying that Liam had recently found out he had been dropped by his record label and that was possibly why he was smashing up his laptop.

Liam's father has been photographed in Buenos Aires. So sad.

I pray she and Bear will get through this. And she is absolutely right about what she said.

It's still surreal to see his name written in the same sentence as the word dead. Addiction is a monster.
