jees Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) The 911 call also leaked. They say he was drunk and drugged out of control breaking everyhing in his room and they feared he would be at risk since the room has balcony. Edited October 17 by jees

It happened with Ariana/Mac Miller, Courtney/Kurt Cobain. It's classic misogyny and I'm not going to apologize for taking a stand against the bad behavior from him and his fans. Tbf if that is happening on her social media accounts why aren't you expressing your concerns over in that comment section rather than a thread here full of mostly mourning and devastated fans? Better yet why not just start a new thread for Mayas book and discuss the context there? Please teach yourself how to read a room sooner rather than later. Edited October 17 by knewbetterpt2 7 3

The whole world sets the tone for how history books will remember the public's reaction in the first 24 hours, and that starts with each of us as individuals. I just don't think it's reasonable to live your life like that, like everything you say and do, particularly on this website that's effectively an echo chamber devoted to shitposting about pop culture, really has any effect on the culture at large. With very few exceptions, ATRL is essentially a black hole. Like, I'm all for having tact and being at least somewhat considerate of others' feelings — especially as I know he/1D have fans on ATRL, and also because suicide (presuming this was one) is an extremely delicate subject — but worrying about one person stumbling upon this thread (which, as of the current moment, is closed to guests) on this website (which, as of 2022, had an Alexa rank in the 30,000s) years down the line from now is not a reasonable or realistic concern. We're talking about someone who lost his life today. Have some respect Someone (Elon) encourages this behavior because it drives more engagement and activity on his site. Twitter is a disgusting place and no one needs that **** anymore. @OP His behavior recently was very much similar to that of other young stars who eventually ended their own life (on purpose or on accident). It's very sad, the warning signs were all there and yet he was ultimately the one in control and brought himself to this end. The hotel employees who gave him drugs are likely going to jail and tbh the FS hotel in BA needs to do an assessment of their staff. 2
loliza Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Rip. I can't believe it. The internet has been bullying him non stop for the last days, people are really cruel thinking they have the right to behave that way 3 1

Sources are saying he stayed at this hotel for a week, whereas he's clearly staying in some sort of house in those videos since it has a giant backyard. Plus, the picture of him and his girlfriend we know is from July 2023 and has been posted by him prior to today. You can post any pictures or videos to your snapchat story at any time no matter when it was recorded or taken. His team likely has this scheduled or put it up just to have something on it. Considering his girlfriend left Argentina two days ago, it's clear these have been delayed considering she is in the videos and she's not in the country.
Goofy Posted October 17 Posted October 17 In complete disbelief. What a tragedy. So so sad. I wasn't a 1D fan, but loved some of their singles. They truly marked the pop scene of the 2010s. I was secretly hoping there would be a reunion one day for all the millions of fans around the globe. Also sending love & light to Cheryl and their kid. Rest in peace 🕊️🤍 3

Again, my point wasn't ATRL specifically. It's just about how everyone talks about this — everywhere. I don't think, "No one's ever gonna stumble across this cruel, little joke anyway " is a great moral compass to have, regardless of how many (or how little) eyeballs end up on it… Edited October 17 by Rihinvention
Princess Aurora Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Last night I had a dream about a celebrity dying and I never felt so anxious before. Waking up to this left me speechless. May he rest in peace. 4 1 1
YourMadGesty Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Unbelievably hurt and devastated. I never understood the hate for him. Was he cocky? Sure. But that never warranted the amount of hate that he got. I saw someone post a viral tweet just a few days ago "Why We Hate Liam Payne" just a few days ago. He didn't deserve this. Just so sad. 5 3
Poxy Posted October 17 Posted October 17 RIP it hurts especially to see a young artist go that I grew up with.
