I didn't know anything about Liam's alleged abuse before today, but after reading about it, his ex GF had every right to speak on her experience before he died, AND AFTER. Liam might've been young and he might've had mental health issues, but that doesn't excuse the abuse he committed and it begs the question of whether we should mourn or whether we should just say, **** it. I think it's up to your own interpretation. Women's abuse at the hands of beloved men, especially the famous ones, is often too overlooked. Liam didn't deserve to die and he could've improved yes, I believe everyone can be restored, but we don't have the foresight to see if he would've and he's not granted it just because he died. Untimely deaths may suck but that's life, so don't take it for granted and do bad things with the thinking that you can fix it later. Best wishes of peace to Maya. Opinions are like a**holes: everyone's got one and nobody wants to hear or see them all the time. I pray your internet warrior brain rot cures itself. Disgusting. RIP Liam. So sad that drugs are ******* up so many in the industry (and outside) 5 1

I think he asked for them??' and offered them money???. When youre desesperate you just dont care Like Bieber when he went to brazil and hired some scorts from there. Who arranged that for him? They have their contacts Like Demi Lovato finding dealers on her own There are tons of good hotel-workers everywhere but it only takes 1-2 to change everything Here some articles of how selling drugs in hotels is a new strategy of the cartels. (Articles from Argentina newspapers) https://www.infobae.com/2015/08/04/1746231-la-nueva-estrategia-los-narcos-vender-drogas-hoteles-capital-federal/ https://www.lavoz.com.ar/sucesos/carlos-paz-se-alojaba-en-diversos-hoteles-y-los-usaba-para-vender-drogas/ This is not exclusive to Latinoamerica. Here some Northamerican hotels with dealers too https://www.justice.gov/usao-az/pr/federal-agents-seize-and-shut-down-royal-inn-hotel-phoenix-due-drug-trafficking-and https://www.dea.gov/press-releases/2020/06/03/han-gil-hotel-demolished-was-safe-haven-drug-distributors https://www.miamiherald.com/miami-com/things-to-do/article225773370.html https://www.wbtw.com/news/police-myrtle-beach-hotel-closed-for-drug-dealing-prostitution-other-criminal-activity/ Looks like the hotel owners went to ask them to leave the hotel cause liam thrashed everything, and the representative told them no because someone had just sold him drugs right there! then they called 911 and things escalated real bad and liam jumped? Hope we get the details of this soon. Looks like there was a feud between the manager and hotel owner . There are different versions of it rumbling here in our latino spheres. All of it was definitely Chaos Hope we get more clarity in the next days what a tragedy. His poor family Liam spanish is bad. No way for him to trade with the local drug dealers.... Someone definitely gave him the drugs but maybe they were not pure and laced with something?? and those mixed with different things give u psychotic episodes... bad guy Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Zero shock at Twitter users being brain rotted, soulless, robots parroting the same script to justify their total lack of human empathy. Nobody has to be a perfect person in order to be grieved. I don't know anything about his alleged abuse but from the little I read it looks like he was in a drug induced manic state, and an overall addict for years, so I'm sure he did treat his exes badly. But as far as I'm concerned as long as you aren't a rapist, serial abuser, or child molester, I find any celebration of someone dying to be a sign of total moral bankruptcy. What's most disgusting is to put on some savior complex like they're doing this for the ex (as if anyone knows her or what she would want) when they're just assh*les. RIP to him, and I hope his son finds peace and X doesn't exist by the time he has internet access. 8 5
Terylee Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) WTF I just woke up. I don't really know him or One Direction, but it shocks me. May he RIP. Edited October 17 by Terylee
Velvet Night Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I hate to say this but I'm weirdly not surprised something like this has happened. It seemed obvious Liam was on a very strong downward spiral, was very unwell and unsupported. This is incredibly sad, and unfortunately too familiar a tale for those who start in the industry so young. May he rest in peace 5 1
rickycabello123 Posted October 17 Posted October 17 did he meet niall? i know he went to argentina to attend his concert and say hi
truthteller Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Ever since he went solo, it was a downward spiraling. It's depressing and sad to watch. May he rest in peace :'(

MusicLoverDude Posted October 17 Posted October 17 This one hurts </3 I was always a bit of casual Directioner. I enjoyed enough of their songs, and mainly the Midnight Memories era. I even had bracelets from Hot Topic. And I was always most attracted to Zayn and Liam, and mostly enjoyed their solo output. The fact that he's only a few months older than me and I'm about to be 31 in January also makes this hit harder. RIP </3
James_Dean Posted October 17 Posted October 17 This is tremendously sad. I can't imagine what his family is going through especially since his passing happened in another country far from home 1

People are always going to jockey for the most likes there by one-upping everyone else's shock humor. It's a feedback loop. Glad I got off there. Edited October 17 by Sazare
Sad Serenade Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) I've read many mean things about him online recenly. He deserves more respect and compassion you don't really know about people's personal struggles. He was so young. RIP. Edited October 17 by Sad Serenade 1
XtinaStripped Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I was browsing the other thread about him a few days ago and feared this was coming but somehow it's still a shock and sooner than I could've ever expected. RIP. Such a shame. 1
