Like the main thread should be allowed for sad posts or genuine concern posts. Let people argue, shade and insult in Base or something. People lack decorum and don't get the concept of time and place anymore.

An employee from the hotel saying Liam wanted to get drugs at any costs and when his manager left him for a while,he got crazy and started breaking stuff and then jumped. He also said another employee had given him drugs and he had been with 2 prostitutes some hours before. Definitely the Hotel is gettin closed-someone's goin to jail

Some of the comments in here are reprehensible. 31 is far too young to write somebody off as a bad apple too far down the wrong path that can never atone for his mistakes. It's not like he was a calculating, cold blooded sicko ala Diddy. He was severely unwell & with significant support/interventions, he could've found stability, gone on to make amends & healed. We all hurt people in our lives at one point or another. Anybody who thinks Maya is going to gain any kind of closure from this is delusional. I can't read the girl's mind but I imagine she'd rather get a genuine apology after his recovery than face this

I'm sorry but you seriously cannot be comparing these situations. Wendy said "death to all of them" when we found out, without a doubt, that Britney was subjected to 10+ years of systematic abuse through a wide conspiracy of family members, managers, and lawyers who essentially deprived her of her human rights, forced her to work for their financial gain, kept her from her children, and drugged her when she wouldn't comply  

 

The allegations about Liam aren't pretty, but he'll never even have the chance to address them now. He had clearly been unwell for years (even though everyone was just making fun of Ozempic!! buccal fat removal!!). Hard drugs can turn you into a completely different person, and now we'll never know if he could've gotten clean and tried to make things right in some way. Some people are acting like he was Diddy and Epstein. 

 

I swear, so many people online will stand up for criminal justice reform and rehabilition when it's only in an abstract sense for people they don't actually know anything about — but when it's a specific person they don't like, suddenly we can't even be shocked and sad when someone died.

A tragic death no matter what. Way to young to go. May his son be safe, warm and protected growing up without his father. May Cheryl be able to guide her son to to success and security.

This is heart breaking. A tortured soul, who needed help and support. It's tragic how the last few years have been for him & it's a tragic way for a 31 year old to pass. 
 

I may not have been a huge 1D fan, but Liam was everywhere in my childhood, and I feel this is the first case of an artist I frequent listened too and saw grow up alongside me pass - and it's just so sad. I hope he has found peace from his inner demons and he can rest without anymore hurt.
