her dad is jj abrams and everyone thinks she's a big nepobaby, which she is and she has famous friends like taylor too.

but i tend to think everyone has to know someone these days to get on and she gets scapegoated a lot, her album is terrific and really well written, full of v memorable songs.

i am still really surprised that this went big tho, i'm old enough to remember the video being dragged really hard on social media for weeks, i guess she got a lot of free promo out of it lol

Maybe you should worry about your faves collapsing instead of joining the hate train against her.

Sabrina is taking the record :clap3:

My faves have 27 years of career, numerous classics, a Wembley Stadium residency scheduled for 2025 and achieved everything without needing daddy's connections in the industry, they can handle a tenth album not being as successful as a second

And they still collapse in 2nd week.

Being a « nepo baby » isn't enough to score hits and have a career. It's also not a reason to constantly hate on her as if she is the only one who managed to have success in an industry that works with… connections. Some of you are just pathetic at this point.

As I said, they can handle it, just like every legend and household name do in their late years. The nepotism drag come from the fact she brings nothing to the table, there's not a single reason to justify her fame other than being daddy's girl, you don't see people lashing out at Miley Cyrus do you?

And what did Willow Smith, Lily Rose Depp and others bring to the table exactly?

Everyone in the industry took advantage of connections, this is how it works. She isn't going to hold herself from doing what she likes because her father is already famous.

Gracie Abrams is the blandest "artist" to ever exist.
