The only solo Top 10 Charli has is from 10 years ago and it's attached to a movie (which is funny considering the excuses some people have for Gaga's hit soundtracks).

Why are we comparing Charli XCX to Taylor, Dua and Gaga now? I literally am asking this as a fan lmao.

 

Yes, very obviously she's not a chart topper. She simply has experienced huge growth this year and a Charli XCX remix album that has quite left field songs doing good numbers is cool. I'm hoping this sets a precedent of remixes being actual remixes with new interesting elements.

As someone that has been stanning since True Romance this is so surreal, never thought there would be a day in which she would have such mainstream success and I'm so happy for her.

I can't believe tons of people say that despite the fact that album has never left the top 20 of the UK and US album charts since its release.

Those two have almost 7 million streams so I guess without them it would have 17 million streams and would still be the better debut for any remix album.
