Can Lady gaga recover from Harlequin ?

Recommended Posts

Seemingly on a high from DWAS Lady Gaga's comeback has suffered a monumental setback with the disastrous showing of her new full length companion album in the US.  The album entered the charts at a lowly 20 despite having movie buzz, high profile performance and playlist support all week for it's single Happy Mistake. This week it is set to disappear from the top 100 in week 2.

So it looks like the Harlequin era is dead on arrival. Jokingly referred to by Gaga as LG6.5, the question is can she rebound from this disaster of epic proportions with LG7, which is touted to be a pop album but nothing like Chromatica.

It's obvious DWAS is there as a fallback if she needs, although she said it was a stand alone single so lets see.

We don't need to speculate because we'll know if the single is hitting with GP or not as soon as this month. Also stop treating Harlequin as LG7 smh.

I hope it can one day outstream Bionic or perhaps Lotus.  Three very experimental studio albums far too ahead of their time for poppers gays to truly appreciate.

No. ERASED. DWAS will tumble to 10M daily streams as a result.

Don't care I just want a new POP album from her. She's almost a billionaire, the last thing I will worry about is to wonder if she'll top the charts :rip:

Why have we nicknamed her character Harley Quinn to 'Harlequin'? Yes, of course she'll survive JFAD. She hasn't released music in like 5 years. There's tons of anticipation for her musical comeback.

It's too much of a non-event to even affect LG7 at all.

I literally referred to it as LG6.5 though.

They said that before Harlequin too.

Didn't take long for it to become a side project though.

Yes, hopefully her new album Joker: Folie à Deux (Music From the Motion Picture) will debut higher. :smitten:

I don't think the alberm bombing nor the DWAS pseudo-success are predictors of anything. Unless she's bringing either the jazzy theme or Bruno again for the proper LG7 era, who knows? I bet it's going to be a Joanne sized performance - a success or a flop depending if you're a liddo analyzing or not.
