how sis? MJ and Madonna and Adele are not even close???

How many sales does a single need in the US to be certified diamond ?

And what songs from the artists I quoted have been certified diamond ?

And also why some artists don't buy/update those certifications ?

About time. E.T. is 8x or 9x platinum, will definitely be her 4th.

MJ and Madonna sold more complete albums than they did singles. While singles have always been around they have never been massive like they have been in the digital area. The person who stated Adele needs to realize she sells albums by the bulk load and has never been a singles artist. That isn't shading Katy either

10M.... sales and streams combined, although that was only effective after May 2013(1500 streams = 1 sale I think)

None so far....although Adele is pretty close with Rolling In the Deep (8x platinum) and Hello (7x platinum)

Its RIAA updating those certifications.

---

I really hope E.T goes diamond next, isn't it already at 8x platinum in the US?
