ReneighIsHere Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Like we all know, Beyoncé has been the topic of discussion for weeks now. It's reached the point were many ACTUALLY believe that she's involved in the murders of different artists and that everyone in the industry is scared of her and that's why they thank her when winning awards (which is honestly so insane to me cause what's weird about thanking one of the greatest performers/artists of all time for inspiring you? people will really go to any lenghts to discredit her). The new viral meme is to "thank Beyoncé" for anything you do so she doesn't come for you.. you can open any post on any social media app and you'll find a comment like this, it's inescapable. It's bad for her especially cause her reach with the younger generation was already terrible, and now this stupid controversy is all they'll think about when she's mentioned. Everyone is talking about it even in countries where she hasn't been the topic of discussion in years, it's definitely affecting her public image. My question is, will people eventually forget about it or is she always gonna be associated with this mess by the public? Could this affect the reception of her next projects? Should she keep a low profile for now or drop something to shift people's attention? 1
Rotunda Posted October 10 Posted October 10 This is probably the only thing I think her team actually has correctly in recent years .
Morissette Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Idk but I find this all very interesting. Beyonce is usually worshipped publicly, hence the "thank beyonce" memes. I never thought she would get so much public backlash. She needs to drop that husband of hers and then renew her expired Illuminati membership. 5
Popular Post Doctor Dick Posted October 10 Popular Post Posted October 10 (edited) It's very race-coded as well. The bad guys in this are Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Diddy, Rihanna, R.Kelly and the good guys are Adele, Taylor, Bieber, Amy Winehouse, Harry Styles. Edited October 10 by Doctor Dick 13 30
Relampago. Posted October 10 Posted October 10 I don't think people outside of the internet care as much as it would seem, she should just ignore it 8 1
nsst Posted October 10 Posted October 10 (edited) Honestly, I don't think she needs to do anything. Who's even taking this seriously? Like you said, the whole 'thank Beyoncé so she doesn't come for you' is going viral because no one actually thinks she's involved in Diddy's drama -- except maybe a few TikTok teens who live for conspiracy theories. This is just one of those controversies that inevitably turns into meme territory, much like Taylor's private jet drama. In the end, it's all just talk, and hardly anyone is genuinely taking it seriously Edited October 10 by nsst 5
Yakult Posted October 10 Posted October 10 (edited) I mean Beyoncé can't control people's lack of basic logic/common sense. If people think that artists are thanking her because they're scared of getting murdered and not because of the impact her art has had on them, then we have bigger problems at large; media literacy is scarily low and NPCs will literally fall for anything no matter how outlandish it may seem (especially if it fits their bias). That's before we touch on people always wanting to take down female celebrities once they're approaching 40 and the misogynoir. Beyoncé should just release the Renaissance tour film on streaming/blu-ray to satisfy the fans and launch ACTIII & a tour next year. Edited October 10 by Yakult 4 7
Mtjjproducer Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Nobody with a brain actually believes this. Jaguar wright is a mentally ill broke woman who smeared her dead son's ashes face. I do want beyonce to sue her ass even if she gets nothing just to be petty then I think she should kinda lean into the conspiracy theories on her next album. I think part 3 will be a rock albums. Imagine if she did a hard rock album as a bad girl controversial album ala Demi's holy ****. Difference is she would sell better. 3
James_Joint Posted October 10 Posted October 10 I think she should act like none of its happening and then on the next album have a line that references the "thank you Beyonce" thing, like what she did on Flawless after the elevator incident. 8 3
LegaMyth Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Keep on living. Unfortunately, there's a bunch of f**, bald headed, ugly, stupid, broke, tired, mentally unstabled, catfish looking b****s that will hate her. There's nothing she can do about that. 8
Shelter Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Nothing. She has always had backlash, more than any other MPG, and just kept doing her thing. 2 3

A super viral trend is super popular outside of the internet, that's why it's super popular.
Shelter Posted October 10 Posted October 10 I laughed today when someone posted "I don't like Beyoncé, I never got the hype". I asked who do you like, she replied "Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Trainer, Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo" a lot of it is young kids who don't like older artists. 3 6
SoundsandSongs Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Beyonce did the right thing by serving Piers a Cease and Desist. It essentially blocks Jaguar from being platformed by anyone with a major audience ever again. You cant do much about tiktok conspiracists who have 0 brain cells unfortunately. Jaguar's son is doing an interview being released this week I believe where he'll be calling out her disgusting character out. I hope more people come forward and expose Jaguar for the disgusting trash she is.

Covid, True Crime, and the 2020 election have all contributed to a massive increase in conspiracy theorists and skeptics in recent years. Everyday people probably aren't taking this story seriously - they're just engaging in memes if they're engaging at all. Folks who are taking this seriously are people who've likely been turned off Beyonce (or mainstream elites broadly) for years. Edited October 10 by Rotunda

I've seen this narrative with many people (Taylor, Jlo, Chappell, Drake, Trump etc.) and it doesn't amount to anything. It's not like her fans are just going to abandon her. And what is she to do anyways? Make a statement? That would only make things worse. Much like everything else in this day and age, people will get bored and move on. No one really cares that much, even if they toss a like at a TikTok. 1
Hallad173 Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Nothing. If she defends herself, people will just not believe her. "She never responds but now she speaks out, must mean she's guilty" type **** and risk it gaining more attention and traction. If she is silent then everyone else gets to write the narrative. I think she has decided to stay quiet on many things and not give the haters the validation of a response, unfortunately the flip side is that people will think they are on to something if she actually releases a response now. So she just has to keep on this road and ride it out, which sucks for now but it will blow over.
Strawberry Bubble Posted October 10 Posted October 10 everyone knows this is a joke. I actually think this is making her even more famous 1 3

Let me clarify, i absolutely believe that she should not address this because it would make things worse. I was wondering if it would be better if she took an hiatus (kinda like lizzo did) and postpone any project for a while or if she should take advantage of the attention and drop something soon.
Comedor Posted October 10 Posted October 10 You are overthinking. This is just a harmless meme that will go away in a week. She probably doesn't even know about it unless she's been briefed.
Starshine Posted October 10 Posted October 10 when she addresses this in act 3: thank u, bey and we get a 100m debut 1 2
SoundsandSongs Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Just now, Starshine said: when she addresses this in act 3: thank u, bey and we get a 100m debut It would be genius if it has a single ft JCole.
Maxxie Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Drop ACT III along with visuals for all 3 albums. The platinum blonde wig needs to go first... 1

People who don't speak english are just hitting translate and taking anything they read as a fact. Even newspapers are reporting about these conspiracies in France, Italy, Latin America.. 1
