LaFuerza Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Gaga is cursed. This bomb will follow her for the rest of her career. When people think of the biggest flop in Marvel movies, they'll think of Gaga. When people think of Gaga, they'll think flop. You can't undo the damage. 9 1 4

Gottasadae Posted October 8 Posted October 8 That Randolph girl is right, she need to take a brake from acting coz no one will offer her a good roles after this nuclear level bomb. Lms are pretending like everything is fine but it's just a protective excuses and delusion at this point 2
Movimento Perpétuo Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Oh Gaga! She should know better that this would've been a disaster since the very first day
J Legend X Posted October 9 Posted October 9 NO ONE ASKED FOR A JOKER MUSICAL... like...don't you know your audience? she obviously killed it vocally
Charmed Life Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Nah, Mr Quentin Tarantino already has a favorite, and he wrote about her in Reservoir Dogs 30 years ago: 1
Katamari Posted October 9 Posted October 9 (edited) If Madonna can continue booking roles after her string of flops until she landed gold then Gagas acting career will be fine Edited October 9 by Katamari 1

SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Y'all really live in your fantasy world (along with incels) where this is bombing because of Gaga. 7 1 3
2NE1 Posted October 9 Posted October 9 So I saw the movie with my husband and it was bad but not because of Gaga!

Lms are pretending like everything is fine but it's just a protective excuses and delusion at this point I know this is rage bait but girl. Beyonce had Obsessed, Mariah had Glitter, Madonna had NUMEROUS movies that flopped... she'll genuinely be fine, she's still got an Oscar nomination for best actress under her belt, nobody is ever taking that away. She needs to focus on working with acclaimed producers/directors/writers and get a better understanding of what makes an amazing script... I'd love to see her work with A24 for something smaller scale. That being said, she's a megastar and this film flopping isn't going to detract from that... 5
needs Posted October 9 Posted October 9 And this is exactly what her privileged, fake-ally ass deserves. She needs to let the prestige and the EGOT that she will never have, go. Be the ally you were in 2009, Gaga. We need her, because people on both sides listen to her when she speaks. But she's too self-absorbed and thinks we need role models. We need real allies, not role models. Lol. 5 4 4
needs Posted October 9 Posted October 9 @kawaiizaddy A confused react? What are you confused about? Do you want to explain to me what Gaga has done for the queer community post-Chromatica? Because from where I'm standing, ever since that album & tour, she has made everything about her. Her illness, her medications, her sponsorships, her film career, her goals. It may relate back to the queer community when she talks about where she pulls inspiration from or when she talks about gratitude for her fans. I am not denying that, I think Gaga is a good person with a strong appreciation for her fans and specifically her queer fans. That said - do you ACTUALLY believe that Gaga does enough as an ally? Lady Gaga - Stefani - is a white, cisgendered, extremely feminine (in the classic conception of what is feminine and especially what is beautiful and respectable in terms of being a woman), rich as **** woman with heaps and heaps of connections, talent, and investments in Hollywood, and of course in New York and abroad. Do you genuinely believe this woman has done enough for the queer community lately in terms of talking about queer issues online? In person and in interviews? Donating her money and especially her time to queer causes? Doing literally anything to express public support for queer issues and especially those intersectional issues like what's going on in Palestine, where many queer people are facing genocide in part due to their queer identity? I say public because we need public figures with the fame and especially the status that Gaga has, to be ABOUT it. We need them to speak up, donate their time and money, and help the cause. Otherwise that is cheap allyship and it is ineffective. Words are only words, I need and we need, action. If you don't agree or you're too much of a Little Monster to see where I'm coming from, I can send you a list of some books on queer politics and liberation that would probably really benefit your human experience. And you know, prevent you from being ignorant lol. A confused react to what I last said is crazy dude. 1 1 9 3
Dula Peep Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Saw the movie and the music is not the problem… the problem is that they made it a boring courtroom drama with no twists, no turns….. nothing really happens
Malkuth Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Its weird to be that she goes around asking to be in films. I thought it would be the other way around. 1 1

Maybe that's because Lady Gaga's first order of business is, uh, Lady Gaga? Her singular purpose in the world is not to be of service to the queer community. The queer community is one of many, many communites in the world, and is not more important than any other.
LaFuerza Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Gaga cares about the queer communuty when it's profitable or convenient. She's very oportunistic that way. It's sad the straight male community didn't support her in Joker 2. 1 6 3

In America I am obsessed with it because how dare she catapult her career off queer people & identity and then be radio silent about our issues now when we're facing an election that could take all of our rights away. **** you and your (European, I imagine?) high horse brother. 2
