The album you mention about is not her solo studio album, it's a side project along with the movie. There is difference isn't there? And you asked about interest in her solo work that's why I answered - 100mln monthly listeners…

fridayteenage Posted October 7 Posted October 7 It went from being her the gift to her Live at Wembley

Why do you answer like a politician. You could have kept quiet. 3

Cause are you even surprised people don't like jazz music? To me it's obvious those listeners aren't streaming harlequin but her whole catalogue. 100mln is 100 mln. 2

Anyway, my official thoughts since you asked xx I don't think any of us would be this defensive had this been an official studio album with original songs and music video and major promo. I think most of us would've agreed it was a bomb. But this whole conversation is so unfair. 1. It compares the performance of studio albums to a non-studio album. 2. It totally ignores the factuality that it's an album with 11 out of 13 songs being well-known covers that have been done millions times before. 3. It is being compared to regular studio albums that had months of build-up with official singles sent to radio and music videos. 4. It is largely composed of jazz and showtunes, genres that are simply not popular anymore. 5. Going by OGHs excuse for ASIB, it is also tied to a movie that's bombing. Those aren't just weak excuses. They are definitive and strong. This is not LG7. 1 1

Locked Out of Heaven was #1 for 6 weeks and Grenade for 4 weeks. Both certified diamond. That's the Way You Are was #1 for 4 weeks and certified 13 Platinum. When I Was Your Man was #1 for week and certified 11x Platinum His most recent solo #1 is That's What I Like which is also certified diamond. When was the last time Gaga had a solo #1? That's right during Obama's first administration. Edited October 7 by Assassin 1 2 6 1

StarTreck was a flop. That that ballad got drowned by her catalog. Born Again got overshadowed by Lift Me Up.

You're saying all that but surprised Harlequin is flopping? You ended yourself boo boo. 3 minutes ago, Assassin said: Meanwhile, Top Gun Maverick was a SMASH hit yet Hold My Hand still flopped. Hold My Oscar Nomination did way better than other girls' soundtracks to hit movies though (Ariana Grande for Beauty and the Beast, Rihanna for Black Panther).

And there are many points that prove so, don't know why you are avoiding them 1
