Weeknd went from longest running top 10 of the decade (54 weeks) —> 1 week in the top 10 and OUT

Are we about to see a Katy Perry level decline?

Except Abel has proven that his albums are still consumed even without any big hits (see: Dawn FM). He will be fine.

Certain artists got one of the biggest hits of the decade and still tanked with their albums and follow-up singles!

Espresso finally passing IHSH but missing the #2 peak yet ago due to Billie's tour effect :toofunny2:  So unlucky.

What is the biggest #3 of all time? Radioactive? Espresso might be coming for its wig

Congratulations to Billie. #2 is great. But I hope she will fall soon cause I want Espresso to have a new peak!

Like, the top 10 is moving but at the same time, it is not. :deadbanana4:

Radio active might've peaked at#3 but it sold 8.5m downloads which is like the 5th biggest of all time and on top of that has 2 billion Spotify streams+1.5b on youtube (dk how many streams from the US)

We desperately need some new songs in this Top 10,  I mean I'm pretty sure half of these songs have been in the Top 10 for 20+ weeks at this point? Beautiful Things returning :deadbanana2:

Die With a Smile stalling is a shame, it should've been a #1 contender but seems like radio held it back big time and I think it's too late unless Gaga/Bruno did a high profile performance that went viral

Same with Good Luck, Babe

Sadly, by the time we'd get a fresher Top 10, christmas music will be everywhere in this Top 10, so here's hoping in January the Top 10 looks completely different than this lol

A Bar Song is literally bullying the other top 10 hits. We need an intervention and then a full investigation into what has been going beacuse this can't happen again. The last few months have been dark times for chart enthusiasts and all artists on charts. A Bar Song is like a disease spreading across the music industry and then throughout the whole US.

The dramatics when a song smashes that we don't like :rip: Look at the metrics. It's very obvious why it's been #1 for so long.

It clearly is beloved, and I'm in that camp.

it's a fun feel good song about drinking your problems away

Can someone explain TOTC's streaming numbers last week?

A Bar Song

HDD: 20.7M

YouTube: 5.3M

TOTC: 26.6M

BIRDS OF A FEATHER

HDD: 20M

YouTube: 5.6M

TOTC: 24.1M

Die With A Smile

HDD: 21.2M

YouTube: 4.38M

TOTC: 24.1M

How come ABS's total is bigger than HDD + YouTube, while BIRDS' and DWAS' total is so off?

The Secret of Us with a solo top 40! Very impressive esp given the people who said the album would fall out after the first week.

Feels crazy that fellow Eras opener Sabrina got her first top 40 this year (Feather in January) and now she's superglued to the top 10.

BB filters YouTube numbers, and TOTC takes that into consideration, so it'll never 100% add up from public numbers

Edit: for ABS, HDD might just have some missing info.

Another Night by Real McCoy, 1994-5; 11 wks, 23 T10 wks, 40 T40 wks, 45 H100 wks. It'll be hard to catch AN with a 0.65 multiplier.

Another Night is also one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard. I didn't know it was such a big hit in the US, I assumed it was just one if those big European Dance hits.

Weeknd delivered two really, not great, lead singles so far. I'm not surprised they're only doing alright. (Well, the first outright bombed.)

I know his album will have gems on it though that turn things around.

I guess A Bar Song has massive pandora streams (programmed streams) which it's basically like radio :rip:

Not a surprise, but A Bar Song will spend a record breaking 20th week at #1 in Canada, topping the chart in all metrics:
