glitch Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Why do people keep making musicals that nobody asked for? Wonka, Mean Girls and now this. It's possible to tell a story without the characters bursting into song every 5 minutes 1 2

In an alternate universe where this is a smash you are posting comments like: "Of course it did that well, it's a sequel to a billion-dollar movie!" "It has nothing to do with Gaga lol. No one went to see the movie because of her" "LOL, the monsters are saying it's a hit because of Gaga when we all know it's because of Joaquin" "Harley Quinn brought in the masses, not Gaga". In fact, we can bring back some posts from the internet on other forums where it was exactly what was said. And as soon as it flops it's Gaga's fault 4 4 1 24

Popular Post MatiRod Posted October 3 Popular Post Posted October 3 I'm more convinced now that Gaga's team saw an early cut, knew it would bomb, and "Die with a Smile" and the LG7 teasing plus the lead arriving very soon after the movie, were moves designed to minimize the damage JFAD would do to her momentum. They made sure to have a bonafide hit record BEFORE the Joker hype imploded after reviews came out, even if it meant hitting up an unlikely collaborator (Bruno) and forcing him engaging in friendly collaboration to give them his biggest unreleased hit lying around. That was not a coincidence, no way. 17 2 1

Rhyme Posted October 3 Posted October 3 That'll teach these movie studios not to hide a movie being a musical. The WORST genre of movies. 6 1

The solo album broke the record for the most streamed jazz album last I checked. But I don't think about the album as often as you do though so maybe you tell me. 2 3 3

Yes, AND Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Looks like this will lose money for everyone involved and could signify the end of Gaga as an actress. What will she attach her "side projects" to going forward ? 5 4
