Sawk Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Nope, she's gonna debut with at least 200k, not worried at all
Shimenawa Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I hope the music is good at least and that she'll deliver a solid album. Her tour will do good even if she bombs
shimind Posted September 30 Posted September 30 whats the worse that can happen? it will perform the same as chromatica?
shimind Posted September 30 Posted September 30 her lead single will be something along the lines of michael jackson's thriller because its coming at the time of halloween. I hope the music video is iconic too. No iphone shot drama this time pls. The era will do fine if the lead smashes and there are decent 2-3 singles material 2
Ethereaaal Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Nope. Why should I worry about its success? Also, based on the snippets, I feel like I will enjoy the album and that's what matters. 1

HonourableVomit Posted September 30 Posted September 30 We know almost nothing about it but.. if she really is making clubby dance music, as a 38 year old popstar, why would you expect huge commercial success given the current climate of pop music? Likely she is fully aware of that, hence DWAS being the proof that she could turn out a huge smash ballad any time she wants. Anyway, can't wait for the LG7 vs Lifetimes Tour threads.
IBeMe Posted September 30 Posted September 30 worried is too strong a word lol. I do think it wont be that successful tho but it will still open with respectable numbers. I predict a 150k-175k range opening for the album which is great for someone pushing 40 as some of u like to say and as someone who's been in the industry for like 17 years
GentleEarthquake Posted September 30 Posted September 30 No, I'm more worried about surviving this semester than calculating the difference between some chart positions/sales between LG7 and Chromatica 12
MatiRod Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Oh please Not even the musical theatre gays want Harlequin no shade. It is not indicative of how Gaga's pop album will do at all. Besides if it does badly they can always tack on Die with a Smile. 1 1
Peak Now Posted September 30 Posted September 30 It'll at least have a good debut as long as it's PopGa 1
taylamour Posted September 30 Posted September 30 If it's industrial as the snippets suggest, absolutely not. 1
fememeist Posted September 30 Posted September 30 She's coming for her first 80+ album on Metacritic as I was told this is an arts not the charts-Gaga era. I think she'll serve a Eusexua-level of excellence 1 1
iiswhoiis_max Posted September 30 Posted September 30 If the abracadabra clip is real then this will be her best to date. I am seated. 1
HANZ94 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I actually hope it's not dance music that sound is soooo dated in 2024 ask Katy Perry I want an album that goes more into the DWAS direction with some pop rock here and there tbh
Colmillo Posted September 30 Posted September 30 The snippets so far sound amazing so I'm excited for it, couldn't care less about the success or lack of success of it tbh, so no I'm not worried
FailSafe Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Why would I worry about the album? Worry about what?

Smarticle Posted September 30 Posted September 30 ATRL told me she's in the same boat as Katy so any number near or above 143's first week would be a smash
